Abstract: | Getah karet (Lateks) didapatkan dengan cara melukai pohon karet yang telah matang sadap,cara pemanenan pohon karet tersebut dikenal dengan penyadapan. Kesalahan dalam penyadapan, seperti pemborosan pemakaian kulit, kerusakan kulit, dan lain-lain akan berdampak pada pemendekan umur ekonomis tanaman, penurunan produksi, sehingga mengakibatkan kerugian petani karet. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitan ini ialah dengan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Non Faktorial dengan 3 Perlakuan jenis pisau sebagai berikut : P0 : Pisau Sadap biasa (kontrol) P1 : Pisau Sadap Elektrik, P2 : Pisau Sadap Bi-Cut. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa 1. Penggunaan pisau sadap Bi-Cut lebih efektif dari pada pisau sadap elektrik di karenakan pisau sadap elektrik memakan waktu durasi penyadapan paling lama dari pada pisau sadap Bi-Cut , Pisau sadap elektrik Motoray juga menunjukkan hasil kedalam irisan yang paling besar pada kulit pohon karet sehingga terjadi pemborosan konsumsi kulit sadapan pada pohon karet. Pengaruh penggunaan pisau sadap elektrik Motoray dan Bi-Cut tidak nyata terhadap produksi lateks baik dari volume lateks yang dihasilkan maupun dari kadar padatan total (TSC) lateks itu sendiri. Rubber latex (latex) is obtained by injuring ripe rubber trees by tapping, this method of harvesting rubber trees was known as tapping. Errors in tapping, such as wasteful use of leather, skin damage, etc. will have an impact on shortening the economic life of the plant, decreasing production, resulting in losses for rubber farmers.The method used in this research is the Non-Factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) method with 3 types of knife treatments as follows: P0: Tapping knife (control) P1: Electric tapping knife, P2: Bi-Cut tapping knife. The results of this study indicate that the use of Bi-Cut tapping knives was more effective than electric tapping knives because electric tapping knives take the longest tapping duration than Bi-Cut tapping knives, Motoray electric tapping knives also show results into the largest slices in rubber tree bark so that there was a waste of consumption of lead bark on rubber trees. The effect of using Motoray and Bi-Cut electric tapping knives was not significant on latex production either from the volume of latex produced or from the total solids content (TSC) of the latex itself. |
