Abstract: Produk ramah lingkungan di artikan sebagai produk yang dapat membantu menjaga lingkungan dan mengurangi dampak kerusakan yang ada. Produk ramah lingkungan juga dapat didefinisikan sebagai produk pengganti atau produk alternatif. Terdapat beberapa produk alternatif seperti tisu bambu, sedotan edible dan tas spunbond. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apa yang mendasari masyarakat di Kota Medan dalam membeli produk ramah lingkungan, serta untuk mengetahui pengaruh green product knowledge dan green awareness terhadap minat beli produk ramah lingkungan. Instrumen utama pengumpulan data adalah kuisioner yang diukur menggunakan skala likert. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 110 responden yang merupakan warga Kota Medan dan berumur 21-40 tahun. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Structural Equation Model (SEM). Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah SEM Amos. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa green product knowledge tidak memiliki pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli produk ramah lingkungan, dan green awareness memiliki pengaruh secara positif dan signifikan terhadap minat beli produk ramah lingkungan. Environmentally friendly products are defined as products that can help protect the environment and reduce the impact of existing damage. Eco-friendly products can also be defined as substitutes or alternative products. There are several alternative products such as bamboo tissue, edible straws and spunbond bags. This study aims to determine what underlies people in Medan City in buying environmentally friendly products, and to determine the effect of green product knowledge and green awareness on buying interest in environmentally friendly products. The main instrument for data collection is a questionnaire measured using a Likert scale. The number of respondents in this study were 110 respondents who were residents of Medan City and aged 21-40 years. The analysis method used is Structural Equation Model (SEM). The analysis tool used is Amos SEM. The results showed that green product knowledge does not have a positive and significant influence on buying interest in environmentally friendly products, and green awareness has a positive and significant influence on buying interest in environmentally friendly products.
