Abstract: Beton merupakan suatu material bahan konstruksi yang bahan penyusunannya terdiri dari semen hidrolik (portland cement), agregat kasar, agregat halus, air dan bahan tambah (Additon HE) bila di perlukan yang akan bembentuk beton segar. Agregat kasar (kerikil atau batu pecah) dan agregat halus (pasir) berfungsi sebagai bahan pengisi utama beton sekaligus penguat, sedangkan campuran semen dan air berfungsi sebagai pengikat antar material.Dalam proses penelitian dilakukan pemeriksaan ketahanan agregat, mengetahui besar kuat tarik beton dengan menggunakan campuran beton dengan bahan tambah Additon HE. Dalam pengujian ini dillakukan dengan umur 7, 14, 28 hari untuk uji kuat tarik beton masing masing sampel sebanyak 3 buah. Sehingga total sampel benda uji sebanyak 18 buah benda uji.Dari hasil pengujian kuat tarik beton dapat menunjukkan bahwa kekuatan tarik beton pada umur 7 hari yang dicapai antara lain: Additon H.E sebesar 0 cc hasil kuat tarik 3,83 Mpa, Additon H.E sebesar 5 cc hasil kuat tarik 4,70 Mpa, dan kekuatan tarik beton pada umur 14 hari yang dicapai antara lain: Additon H.E sebesar 0 cc hasil kuat tarik 5,84 Mpa, Additon H.E sebesar 5 cc hasil kuat tarik 7,70 Mpa, dan kekuatan tarik beton pada umur 28 hari yang dicapai antara lain: Additon H.E sebesar 0 cc hasil kuat tarik 7,37 Mpa, Additon H.E sebesar 5 cc hasil kuat tarik 9,39 Mpa.Dari hasil pengujian kuat tarik ini sudah terlihat bahwa dengan menggunakan zat Additon HE dapat meningkatkan mutu beton yang dimana beton yang menggunakan Additon HE yang berumur 14 hari sudah dapat menyamai mutu beton biasa yg berumur 28 hari. Concrete is a construction material whose constituent materials consist of hydraulic cement (portland cement), coarse aggregate, fine aggregate, water and additives (Additon HE) when needed which will form fresh concrete. Coarse aggregate (gravel or crushed stone) and fine aggregate (sand) serve as the main filler for concrete as well as reinforcement, while a mixture of cement and water functions as a binder between the materials.In the research process, an aggregate durability check was carried out, knowing the tensile strength of concrete using a concrete mixture with Additon HE added material. In this test, it was carried out at 7, 14, 28 days for the tensile strength test of concrete for each sample of 3 pieces. So that the total sample of test objects is 18 pieces of test objects.From the results of the concrete tensile strength test it can be shown that the tensile strength of concrete at the age of 7 days achieved includes: Additon H.E of 0 cc resulting in a tensile strength of 3.83 Mpa, Additon H.E of 5 cc resulting in a tensile strength of 4.70 Mpa, and tensile strength concrete at the age of 14 days that was achieved included: Additon H.E of 0 cc resulting in a tensile strength of 5.84 Mpa, Additon H.E of 5 cc resulting in a tensile strength of 7.70 Mpa, and the tensile strength of concrete at the age of 28 days achieved included: Additon H.E of 0 cc results in a tensile strength of 7.37 Mpa, Additon H.E of 5 cc results in a tensile strength of 9.39 Mpa.From the results of this tensile strength test, it can be seen that using Additon HE can improve the quality of concrete where concrete using Additon HE which is 14 days old can match the quality of ordinary concrete which is 28 days old.
