dc.description.abstract | Sistem transportasi perkotaan merupakan suatu sistem pergerakan manusia dan barang antara zona asal dan tujuan dalam suatu wilayah perkotaan. Transportasi adalah proses pemindahan suatu benda mencakup benda mati atau hidup dari suatu tempat ke tempat lain. Adapun tujuan dari diselenggarakannya sistem transportasi agar proses pergerakan manusia dan barang dapat dilaksanakan secara optimal dengan mempertimbangkan faktor keamanan, kenyamanan dan kelancaran serta efisiensi waktu dan biaya. Kini semakin banyak pilihan transportasi umum di kota Medan, Sumatra Utara, dengan beroperasinya armada bus trans metro deli sejak senin 16 November 2020. Sebanyak 70 armada bus beroperasi dengan 4 bus disiapkan sebagai armada cadangan dan 65 bus sudah beroperasi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara melakukan penyebaran kuesioner kepada 50 responden.Dengan menggunakan rumus Choran Dari hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa penumpang merasa setuju dengan penggunaan Bus Trans Metro Deli yang telah diberikan oleh pemerintah. Bagian yang harus dipertahankan menurut penumpang adalah sikap petugas dalam berkomunikasi dengan penumpang serta memberikan kenyamanan agar penumpang tidak merasa takut menggunakan bus Trans Metro Deli, sedangkan bagian yang harus dikembangkan adalah kenyamanan didalam bus terhadap kinerja supir bus yang kurang nyaman dan aman, dan tempat duduk pada halte agar ditambah jumlahnya sesuai dengan kebutuhan penumpang bus Trans Metro Deli. Dari penelitian ini terdapat data Dari hasil analisis dan perhitungan yang sudah dilakukan pada bab sebelumnya, maka diperoleh hasil karakteritik penumpang Bus Trans Metro Deli berdasarkan usia, Pekerjaan, Penghasilan,Jenis Kelamin, Tujuan dan Pendidikan, faktor muatan penumpang = 0,72 = 1, headway =8 menit, tingkat operasional = 5 menit, kerapatan (Lapangan Merdeka – Belawan)= 2.71 km/kendaraan, (Belawan – Lapangan Merdeka) = 2.92 km/kendaraan, dankecepatan = (Lapangan Merdeka – Belawan) = 22.2 km/jam, (Belawan – Lapangan Merdeka) = 20.6 km/jam. An urban transportation system is a system of movement of people and goods between origin and destination zones within an urban area. Transportation is the process of moving an object including inanimate or living objects from one place to another. The purpose of the implementation of the transportation system so that the process of movement of people and goods can be carried out optimally by time and price Now there are more and more public transportation options in the city of Medan, North Sumatra, with the operation of the trans metro deli bus fleet since Monday, November 16, 2020. A total of 70 buses operate with 4 buses prepared as reserve fleets and 65 buses already in operation. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to 50 respondents.
