dc.description.abstract | Lapis pennukaan konstruksi perkerasan jalan adalah lapisan yang paling · besar menerima beban. Oleh sebab itu material penyusun lapisan ini haruslah material yang berkualitas baik. Kadar agregat dalam perkerasan lentur umumnya berkisar antara 90-95% dari berat total. Pemakaian agregat yang tidak sesuai dengan persyaratan inilah yang paling sering menjadi penyebab kerusakan pada perkerasan jalan. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan agregat Bulat dalam campuran aspal beton dengan menambahkan kadar agregat bulat yang bervariasi: 0%; 5%; I 0%; 15%; 20% dan 25% pada campuran aspal beton yang mempunyai kombinasi agregat yaitu: 25% Batupecah 3/4 + 21 % Batupecah 1/2 + 43.1 % abubatu + 1.9% Filler. Setelah dibuat masing-masing 3 benda uji dengan kadar aspal berkisar antara: 5%; 5,5%; 6,0%; 6,5% dan 7,0%, maka didapat kadar aspal sebesar 5,5%, 6%, 6,5%, yang akan dipergunakan untuk pembuatan sampel benda uji untuk menentukan pengaruh agregat bulat/pipih terhadap nilai karakteristik aspal beton. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa kadar agregat yang akan dipergunakan pada campuran aspal beton tidak boleh > 10% karena hat ini akan mempengaruhi stabilitas dari aspal beton. Maksud dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh yang terjadi terhadap karakteristik aspal AC-WC melalui marshall test. Karakteristik yang diukur dengan menggunakan alat Marshall adalah stabilitas, kelelehan, marshal/ quotient (MQ), void in mix (VIM), serta void in mineral aggregate (VMA). After being made each 3specimen with asphalt content ranges: 5%; 5,5%; 6,0%; 6,5% dan 7,0%, the importance of the asphalt content of 5,5%, 6%, 6,5%, which will be used for the manufacture of test specimen sample to determine the aggregate effect of round/ flat against the value of the characteristics of asphalt concrete. The test results showed that the levels of aggregate to be used in asphalt concrete mix should not be > 10% as this will affect the stability of asphalt concrete. The purpose of this study to determine how much influence what happens to the characteristics of asphalt AC-WC through a marshal/ test.
