Abstract: Pembuangan panas dari kondensor pada sistem penyegar ruangan sangatlah penting. Panas berasal dari kondensor haruslah dibuang ke udara lingkungan sekitar, kinerja dari kondensor tersebut dapat bekerja dengan baik. Semakin besar beban pendingin yang diterima pesawat pendingin, maka panas yang diterima kondensor juga akan besar. Panas tersebut harus dibuang ke udara. Agar sistem berjalan sempurna, refrigerant berubah fasa uap menjadi cair pada kondensor. Sehingga untuk membuang panas diperlukan alat Menara Pendingin (Cooling Tower). Menara pendingin untuk melepaskan panas yang ada pada kondensor dengan media air pendingin. Dalam menganalisa menara pendingin jenis aliran berlawanan ( Counter Flow) ini, Penulis melakukan survey dan data - data di PT Growth Asia Foundry Kawasan Industri Medan, mengadakan tanya jawab pada staff dan karyawan di perusahaan tersebut, dan ikut langsung kelapangan bersama karyawan perusahaan tersebut untuk melihat langsung Menara Pendingin yang sedang beroperasi Hasil perhitungan di peroleh beban pendingin 4. 75 kW, Panas yang dibuang kondensor 5.67 kW diameter pipa 0.95 m. daya motor pompa 10.867 kW.
