dc.description.abstract | Proses penjemm,rn dan pengeringan bertujuan untuk mengeringbn, bahan bahan yang dimaksud adai&l1 jagung, namun di dalarn penelitian ini penulis rnembedakan metode p<"njemuran dan pengeringan. Penjemuran sccara alami untuk mengeringkanjagung suhu maksirnum yang telah diukur dengan alat tennometer yaitu 49°C. Dilakukan dengan men ggun akan alas yaitu goni, sebab dengan menggunakan alas goni tersebut hasil clari proses penjemuran akan lf'bih baik dan lebih bermutu kualitasnya. Sedangkan p e n~ ~'ringan dengan menggunakan alat penger111g 1nata hari dilakukan dengan menggunakan wadah. Wadah di dalam alat pengering ini acblah ternpat jagung dil-eiakkan . Panas yang dihasilkan oleh rnatahari lan gsung disernp ol eh kolector rn elalui kaca transparan, dengan ruang yang di cat berwam3 hit am Panas yang di serap ol eh kol ector untuk memanaskan udara yang kernu dian di transfer ke dal am ruang ( wadah ) pengering kipas (Fan). Suhu ya ng telah di u!,: ur oleh termometer di dalam wadah pengering ya itu maksimurn 65°C. Dari kedua proses penjemuran secara alami dan penge ring buatan di atas mempunyai kelebihan maupun kekurangan. Penjemuran secara alami kekurangan yang utama yaitu sangat tergantung pada intensitas panas matahari, sedangkan untuk pengeringan dengan menggunakan alat pengering matahari dapat di atasi dengan menggunakan proses biomassa. Proses biomassa merupakan proses dimana panas yang di hasilkan melalui proses biomassa tidak langsung ke bahan (jagung) di karenakan akan mengakibatkan mutu jagung akan tidak berkualitas. Processing of sunbathe and drying process is aimed to dry the material, it means com, but in this research the writer will diffrenciate both of them. Natural sun bathe is to dry the com with maximum temperature witch has been measured by using tennorneterein 49°c.It's done by using base and sack, because by using base and sack the result from processing of sunbath is better and the quality is more satisfied. While drying with sun dryer is done by using bowl. Bowl in this drying is where the com has placed. The heat has been resulted by sun to directtly and by collector throught transparent mirror, with black space. Heat reserve by collector to heat the air and then transfering to inside space, a fan. The heat js measured by termometere in dry space is maximum 65 °C. From the both process naturally and drying above , it's has anvantages <1>~ disatvantagethe main disanvantageof sun bathe is depend on intensity of sun hea while for d'":' • g is used by dryer and it handle with biomassa process. Biomassa process where heat resulted thought biornassa process undirectly to material (corn) because it can make the quality of corn is not qualified. | en_US |
