Abstract: Sejalan dengan perkembangan zaman, maka kebutuhan pemakaian tenaga listrik makin berkembang pesat, sehingga perkembangan tenaga listrik juga harus terus dipacu. Disini gangguan yang sering terjadi ialah di Pendistribusian yaitu dari Gardu lnduk. Pada Gardu lnduk tersebut tegangan yang tersedia pada sisi tegangan tinggi (150 KV) ke sisi tegangan menengah (20 KV). Ditransformasikan oleh transformator daya, dimana untuk keandalannya, selain sistem Pendistribusian untuk memback-up Trafo Daya tersebut dari gangguan tegangan lebih dipasanglah suatu Alat, yaitu NGR (Negative Ground Resistence). In line with the times, the need for use Electric power is growing rapidly, resulting in the development of electric power must also continue to be encouraged. Here the disturbance that often occurs is in distribution, namely from Substation. At the substation the voltage is available on the side high voltage (150 KV) to medium voltage side (20 KV). Transformed by a power transformer, where for its reliability, in addition Distribution system to back up the Power Transformer from disturbances over voltage, a device is installed, namely NGR (Negative Ground resistance).
