dc.description.abstract | Masalah Transportasi merupakan salah satu masalah yang dihadapf kota Medan. Salah satu faktor penting dalam usaha menuju sistem prasarana transportasi yang baik adalah kemampuan kinerja dan pelayanan jalan, khususnya kinerja dan pelayanan simpang sebagai salah satu bagian dari sistem jalan. Secara keseluruhan permasalahan kemacetan dan antrian di kota medan pada umumnya terjadi pada persimpangan (baik persimpangan bersinyal maupun tidak bersinyal). Efektifuya sistem pengaturan JaJuJintas pada simpang bersinyaJ merupakan faktor penting dalam menuju sistem transportasi yang lebih baik karena mampu melayani arus kendaraan secara teratur. Hal ini dapaat terwujud secaaraa optimal bila sinyal lalulintas (Traffic Light) dipasang pada lokasi yang tepat, terdapat peraturan yang mendukung operasi dan dioperasikan mengikuti kaidah efisiensi. Dari Jatar belakang diatas maka penulis membuat rumusan permasalahan, Kondisi persimpangan Jln Letda sujono dengan jalan Aksara, dan Jln Mandala By- Pass dengan Jln Selamat Ketaren saat ini tidak memadai untuk menampung lalulintas kendaraan yang ada, persimpangan yang memiliki kapasitas simpang yang kurang baik hal ini dapat dilihat dari derajat kejenuhan Utara (Jl. Selamat ketaren) sebesar 0,943, Selatan (Jl. Mandala By Pass) sebesar 1,663, Barat (Jl. Letda Sujono) sebesarl.511, dan Timur (Jl. Aksara) sebesar 1,364. Dimana hasil ini meiebihi batas maksimal derajat kejenuhan 0,85. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui teknik pengumpulan data Primer dan data Sekunder yang dimana data Primer berupa survei volume lalulintas persimpangan, sunrei geometrik persimpangan dan survei jumlah fase di persimpangan. Sedangkan data Sekunder berupa data atau informasi yang tersusun dan terukur yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan tujuan penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian tersebut, maka dapat diketahui bahwa kondisi persimpangan yang ada saat ini tidak mampu menampungjumlah kapasitas kendaraan yang ada. Transportation problem is one of rthe problems facing the city of Medan . One important factor in the effort towards a good transport infrastructure system is the ability of performance and service roads , particularly the intersection of performance and service as one part of the road system . Overall congestion and queuing problems in the city field generally occurs at intersections ( both signalized and non- signalized intersections ) . Effective traffic management systems at signalized intersections is an important factor towards a better transport system for being able to serve the flow of vehicles oil a regular basis . This can happen when the optimal traffic signal ( Traffic Light ) installed in the proper location , there are regulations that support the operations and operating efficiency following the rules. From the background above, the writer makes the formulation of the problem , the junction of Jln Letda Conditions Sujono the script path , and' Mandala Jalan · Jalan By- Pass with Congratulations Ketaren currently inadequate to accommodate the existing vehicle traffic , intersections that have a poor capacity of the intersection of this degree of saturation can be seenfrom the North( Jl. Welcome Ketaren) of 0.943 , South ( Jl. Mandala by Pass) at 1,663 , the West ( Jl. Letda Sujono) saturation 1.511, and East ( Jl. script) of 1,364 . Where this result exceeds the maximum limit ofthe degree of saturation of 0.85. Data was collected through data collection techniques Primary andm Secondary Data Primary data in the form of a survey in which the traffic volume intersection , intersection geometric survey and survey of the number of phases in the intersection . While the secondary data in the form of data or information that is structured and measured in accordance with the requirements of this research. Based on these results , it can be seen that the junction conditions that exist today are not able to accommodate the number of vehicles available capacity. | en_US |
