Hotel Resort di Sipiso-Piso

Abstract

Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor tumpuan yang diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi besar dalam upaya pemulihan ekonomi. Pembangunan kepariwisataan perlu terus dilanjutkan dan ditingkatkan dengan memanfaatkan sumberdaya dan potensi wisata yang ada. Salah satu factor penunjang wisata adalah sebuah fasilitas atau akomodasi yang tersedia pada lokasi wisata tersebut. Keberadaan Hotel resort yang letaknya di kawasan wisata sangat baik dikembangkan menjadi sebuah tempat untuk mewadahi kegiatan Pariwisata dan menunjang kegiatan wisata. Bentuk dari pengembangan kawasan tersebut adalah perencanaan dan perancangan hotel resort di Kabupaten Karo. Adapun tema perancangan menggunakan arsitektur vemakular Karo " hotel resort di kawasan air terjun sipiso-piso yang letaknya sangat strategis. Design perancangan Hotel tersebut mengangkat arsitektur tradisonal karo, sehingga nilai - nilai budaya yang terkandung dalam bangunan hotel resort akan mencerminkan budaya sekitar dan budaya karo tidak akan terlindas arsitektur modern. Hasil penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan sumbangan kepada pihak Universitas dan pihak dinas Pariwisata kabupaten karo, kiranya perancangan Hotel Resort dapat diwujudkan guna melengkapi fasilitas dan akomodasi pada kawasan wisata. Tourism is one of the key sectors which is expected to make a major contribution to economic recovery efforts. Tourism development needs to continue and be improved by utilizing existing tourism resources and potential. One of the supporting factors for tourism is the facilities or accommodation available at the tourist location. The existence of resort hotels located in tourist areas is very well developed into a place to accommodate tourism activities and support tourism activities. The form of area development is planning and designing a resort hotel in Karo Regency. The design theme uses Karo vemacular architecture "a resort hotel in the Sipiso-piso waterfall area which is very strategically located. The design of the hotel uses traditional Karo architecture, so that the cultural values contained in the resort hotel building will reflect the surrounding culture and Karo culture is not will be crushed by modern architecture. It is hoped that the results of this research can provide a contribution to the University and the Karo Regency Tourism Office, so that the design of a Resort Hotel can be realized to complement the facilities and accommodation in tourist areas.
