dc.description.abstract | Pengaturan lampu lalu lintas yang ada sekarang ini kebanyakan menggunakan sistem pengaturan waktu tetap, dimana lampu diatur agar bekerja berdasarkan waktu tetap, tanpa memperhatikan naik turunnya arus lalu lintas. Untuk itu, ditawarkan suatu sistem detektor (traffic actuated) dengan memanfaatkan PLC (Programmable LogiC Controller) sebagai kontroller. Most of the current traffic light arrangements use fixed time setting system, where the lights are set to work based on time constant, regardless of the ups and downs of traffic flow.
