Abstract: | Untuk memenuhi energi listrik dan kehutuhan bahan bakar yang tiap tahun terus meningkat, kita jangan mengharapkan dari sumber bahan bakar minyak saja, untuk itu kita harus mencari sumber-sumber energi listrik yang lainnya. Diantaranya sumber energi yang dapat menjadi energi tersebut adalah dengan tenaga uap (ketel uap). Pada pembangkit listrik tenaga uap menggunakan ketel uap sebagai pengkonversi panas dari hasil pembakaran bahan bakar menjadi energi kinetik uap yang dapat memutar sudu turbin uap yang selanjutnya turbin uap memutar generator. To meet electrical energy and fuel requirements which continue to increase every year, we should not rely on oil fuel sources alone, for this we must look for other sources of electrical energy. One of the energy sources that can become this energy is steam power (steam boiler). Steam power plants use a steam boiler to convert heat from burning fuel into steam kinetic energy which can rotate the steam turbine blades which then turn the steam turbine to the generator. |
