dc.description.abstractPesantren pada awalnya adalah lembaga dakwah yang digunakan para wali untuk menyebarkan agama islam. Namun, pada perkembangan selanjutnya Pesantren menjadi lembaga pendidikan islam. Didalam Pesantren para santri bisa mempelajari agama islam dengan cara mengkaji karya- karya ulama klasik.Sampai saat ini keberadaan Pesantren masih belum begitu diperhatikan oleh masyarakat. Pesantren dengan metode pengajaran tradisional akan semakin tertinggal. Islamic boarding schools were originally missionary institutions used by guardians to spread the Islamic religion. However, in further developments Islamic boarding schools are Islamic educational institutions. In Islamic boarding schools, students can study Islamic religion by studying the works of ulama classic. Until now, the existence of Islamic boarding schools has not been given much attention public. Islamic boarding schools with traditional teaching methods will increase left behind.en_US
