Graha Insan Cita HMI-KAHMI di Medan

Abstract

Graha Insan Cita HMI-KAHMI adalah sebuah sarana bangunan untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan-kegiatan keorganisasian Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (HMI) dan Korps Alumni HMI (KAHMI) untuk tingkat Medan dan Propinsi Sumatera Utara. Graha Insan Cita ini nantinya akan menjadi sekretariat bernilai plus bagi kedua organisasi beserta anak-anak lembaganya. Lembaga-lembaga tersebut adalah Badan Koordinasi Himpunan Mahasiswa Islam (BADKO HM!) Sumatera Utara, HM! Cabang Medan, Karp HMl-wati (KOHATI) ljMI Cabaftg Medan, Lembaga Pengelola Latihan (LPL) HM/ Cabang Medan, Badanbadan Khusus HM/ Cabang Medan, Korps Alumni HM/ (KAHMI) Wilayah Sumatera Utara dan KAHMI Daerah Medan. Selain sekretariat lembaga-lembaga tersebut, masih ada massa bangunan lain yang direncanakan guna mengakomodasi segenap aktivitas organisasi HMI-KAHMI seperti mesjid, perpustakaan, kantin dan aula. Dewasa ini Kantor HMI Cabang Medan dan BADKO HMI Sumatera Utara berada di kawasan Jalan Adinegoro no. 15 pada sebuah areal seluas 50 x 60 meter. Dengan kualitas dan kuantitas pertumbuhan HMI dan KAHMI yang begitu cepat setiap tahunnya, terlihat bahwa sekretariat yang ada tidak bisa lagi menampung. Hal ini terlihat terutama dengan terpisahnya sekretariat KAHMI -KAHMI Wilayah Sumatera Utara berkantor di Jalan Brigjen. Katamso sedangkan KAHMI Daerah Medan di Jalan Syailendra no 22. Dengan kenyataan ini, koordinasi diantara kedua organisasi tidak terjalin dengan baik padahal semestinya justru harus lebih koordinatif mengingat kedua organisasi merupakan 'saudara'. Perencanaan ini nantinya akan mengintegrasikan kedua organisasi ke dalam satu kawasan kompleks massa bangunan yang mengambil lokasi di Jalan Sutomo Ujung yang merupakan bekas Kampus IAIN Sumatera Utara. Luas site ini adalah 400 x 250 meter dan dikeliling oleh empat ruas jalan kelas tertier dan sekunder. Dengan luas seperti itu kiranya dianggap mampu menampung dan menfasilitasi segenap kemungkinan kebutuhan .. keorganisasian HMI dan KAHMl di Medan. Adapun dalam pengolahan visualnya, perencanaan ini akan mengambil thema aplikasi Arsitektur Islamy'. Ini selandasan dengan tujuan perencanaan yang merancang massa bangunan untuk kepentingan sebuah organisasi Islam. Insan Cita House of HMI-KAHMI is the building who used to hold every organized activity of Islamic Association of University Students (HMI) and Corps of Alumn of HMI (KAHMI) in Medan City and Province of North Sumatera. This building will be a secretariat with grade plus for this couple organizations and the organizations are The Coordinator Board of Islamic Association of University Students (BADKO HM!) at North Sumatera, HM! Branch Medan, Women Division of Islamic Association of University Students (KOHATI HM!) Branch Medan, Training Institusion of HM! Branch Medan (LPL), The Specials Board of HM! Branch Medan, The Corps of Alumn of HM! (KAHMI) Branch M/ dan City and Province of North Sumatera. Apart from secretariat, still there is the other building who used for completely this planning like mousqe, library, cantin, and aula. Today, the office of HMI Branch Medan and BADKO RMI of North Sumatera there are in area of l 51 h Adinegoro Street Medan at location with wide 50 x 60 metres. With cuality and cuantity growth of HMI and KAHMI who so speed every year, the old office can not hold the activity a couple organization. That reason why the office KAHMI Branch Medan City and Province of North Sumatera are separate with the office of RMI Branch Medan and BADKO HMI ofNorth Sumatera. The office ofKAHMI of Province OfNorth Sumatera there is in Brigjen Katamso Street Medan and KAHMI Branch Medan City has office at 22nd Syailendrn Street Medan. With this fact the coordination in above organization are missing, while the couple organization as is should be often be coordinate because they are 'brotherly'. This planning will be integrated the couple organization in to one area of building mass with location at Sutomo End Street Medan who ex IAIN of North Sumatera Campus. The wide of this site are 400 x 2SO metres and around of four secunder and tertier street. With wide like that, in predictly enough to hol4 anything needly possible of HMI and KAHMI in Medan. As to arrange a visualization of this planning will take the theme is ,application of Islamic Architecture'. This theme will tak:ed because the planning has destination to build a building for Islamic Organization.
