Hubungan Dukungan Keluarga terhadap Semangat Hidup Anak Leukemia di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap semangat hidup anak penderita Leukemia. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah adanya hubungan dukungan keluarga terhadap semangat hidup anak Leukemia Penelitian ini dilaksanakan melalui pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi subjek penelitian adalah anak-anak penderita Leukemia yang sedang menjalani perawatan di RSUP H. Adam Malik Medan. Dimana sampel penelitian adalah anak-anak berusia 9 - 16 tahun . jumlah sampel penelitian berjumlah 30 orang. Tehnik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian populasi. Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skala psikologi berupa skala semangat hidup yang diadaptasi dari Nursalim (2000) dan skala dukungan keluarga dikemukakan oleh Friedman (1998) dan House (dalam Sarafino, 1994). Kemudian hasilnya berupa skor sel)langat hidup yang diolah secara staistik dengan memakai rumus Product Moment menurut Hadi, (1987). Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan Analisis Korelasi Product Moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan keluarga dengan semangat hidup. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,434;p< 0,050. Artinya semakin tinggi dukungan keluarga, maka semakin tinggi semangat hidup, sebalikya semakin rendah dukungan keluarga, maka semakin rendah semangat hidup. Berdasarkan hasil ini, maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian m1, dinyatakan diterima. Ada beberapa saran yang diberikan berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini untuk penelitian selanjutnya dapat meneliti adanya semangat hidup anak yang mendapat dnkungan dari keluarga atapun yang tidak mendapat dukungan dari keluarga. Then The result is a score of live cells which is processed statistically using a formula Product Moment according to Hadi, (1987). Based on the results of Product Moment Correlation Analysis calculations, it can be seen that there is a significant positive relationship between family support and enthusiasm for life. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.434; p < 0.050. This means that the higher the family support, the higher the enthusiasm for life, conversely, the lower the family support, the lower the enthusiasm for life. Based on these results, the hypothesis that has been proposed in research m1, declared accepted. There are several suggestions given based on the results of this research for Further research can examine the enthusiasm for life of children who receive it support from family or who do not receive support from family.
