Analisis Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Keberhasilan Penerima Bantuan Program Penumbuhan Wirausahawan Muda Pertanian (PWMP) di Sumatera Utara

Abstract

Faktor penentu keberhasilan wirausahawan perlu dianalisis guna meningkatkan potensi penumbuhan pelaku usaha maupun pelaku utama bidang pertanian (agropreneur) Program Wirausaha Muda Pertanian (PWMP). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan Pemuda Tani dalam berwirausaha pertanian dan menganalisis hubungan antar variabel faktor-faktor keberhasilan Pemuda Tani dalam berwirausaha pertanian di Sumatera Utara. Sampel penelitian menggunakan sensus dengan mengambil responden seluruh kelompok penerima program PWMP di Sumatera Utara (tahun 2018 sampai dengan 2020) yang berjumlah 39 kelompok. faktor keuangan, lokasi usaha, kemampuan usaha, komitmen, pengalaman dan motivasi digunakan untuk mengestimasi keberhasilan wirausaha dengan analisis linear berganda. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor seperti komitmen, pengalaman, dan motivasi tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap keberhasilan usaha karena rendahnya tingkat komitmen terhadap usaha, pengalaman yang kurang, dan motivasi yang rendah terhadap usaha yang dilaksanakan oleh responden. Sebaliknya, faktor-faktor seperti keuangan, lokasi usaha, dan kemampuan usaha memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap tingkat keberhasilan penerima bantuan Program Peningkatan Wirausaha Muda Pertanian (PWMP) di Sumatera Utara. The Determinants of entrepreneurial success need to be analyzed to enhance the potential growth of business actors and main players in the agricultural sector (agropreneurs) of the Young Agricultural Entrepreneurship Program (PWMP). This research aims to analyze the factors influencing the success of Young Farmers in agricultural entrepreneurship and to examine the relationships among variables affecting the success of Young Farmers in agricultural entrepreneurship in North Sumatra. The research sample employed a census, encompassing all recipient groups of the PWMP program in North Sumatra (from 2018 to 2020), totaling 39 groups. Financial factors, business location, entrepreneurial capabilities, commitment, experience, and motivation were utilized to estimate entrepreneurial success through multiple linear regression analysis. The conclusion drawn from this study indicates that factors such as commitment, experience, and motivation do not significantly impact business success due to the low level of commitment, inadequate experience, and insufficient motivation exhibited by the respondents in their entrepreneurial pursuits. Conversely, factors such as finance, business location, and entrepreneurial capabilities significantly influence the success rate of beneficiaries in the Young Agricultural Entrepreneurship Enhancement Program (PWMP) in North Sumatra.
