Abstract: Tanah sebagai dasar perletakan suatu struktur harus mempunyai sifat dan daya dukung yang baik. Perilaku tanah sangat di pengaruhi oleh kadar air, salah satu jenis tanah yang banyak permasalahan dalam kontruksi yaitu jenis tanah berlempung. Pada penelitian ini analisis pengaruh penambahan pasir zeolit terhadap nilai kuat tekan bebas pada tanah lempung. Penggunaan pasir zeolit sebagai bahan campuran dapat meningkatkan daya dukung tanah. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh substitusi pasir zeolit pada tanah lempung yang berasal dari kawasan Jl. Pantai labu, Sekip, Kec. Lubuk Pakam, Kabupaten Deli Serdang, terhadap nilai uji kuat tekan bebas (UCST) tanah asli yang dipadatkan di laboratorium, serta mengetahui nilai uji kuat tekan bebas (UCST) tanah asli yang dicampur pasir zeolit dengan persentase 10%, 15%, 20%, dengan waktu pemeraman selama 7 hari dengan kondisi tanpa perendaman (unsoaked). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase peningkatan nilai kuat tekan (qu) disturbed maupun remoulded tertinggi pada variasi campuran tanah 80%+pasir zeolit 20% dengan nilai qu yaitu sebesar 1.631 kg/cm2 untuk tanah disturbed dan 1.220 kg/cm2 untuk kondisi remoulded, dengan persentase peningkatan adalah sebesar 156.854% untuk tanah disturbed dan 147.130% untuk tanah remoulded dari kondisi tanah asli atau tanpa stabilisasi Soil as the basis for placing a structure must have good properties and bearing capacity. Soil behavior is greatly influenced by water content, one type of soil that has many problems in construction is clay soil. In this research, we analyzed the effect of adding zeolite sand on the unconfined compressive strength value of clay soil. Using zeolite sand as a mixture can increase the bearing capacity of the soil. The aim of this research is to determine the effect of zeolite sand substitution on clay soil originating from the Jl. Pumpkin Beach, Sekip, District. Lubuk Pakam, Deli Serdang Regency, regarding the unconfined compressive strength test (UCST) value of original soil compacted in the laboratory, as well as knowing the unconfined compressive strength test (UCST) value of original soil mixed with zeolite sand with a percentage of 10%, 15%, 20%, with a curing time of 7 days under unsoaked conditions. The results of the research show that the highest percentage increase in disturbed and remoulded compressive strength (qu) values was in the variation of 80% soil mixture + 20% zeolite sand with a qu value of 1,631 kg/cm2 for disturbed soil and 1,220 kg/cm2 for remoulded conditions, with a percentage the increase was 156,854% for disturbed soil and 147,130% for remoulded soil from the original soil condition or without stabilization.
