Abstract: Usahatani tanaman kakao merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan petani dengan cara mempertahankan serta meningkatkan produksi yang dihasilkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besar pendapatan dan kelayakan usahatani kakao di kakao (Theobroma Cacao L.) rakyat (Studi Kasus Desa Hilihambawa Kecamatan Gunungsitoli Idanoi Kota Gunungsitoli). Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik Sensus dimana jumlah sampel yang diambil sebanyak 25 orang petani kakao yang berasal dari keseluruhan populasi yang ada. Adapun analisis data yamg di gunakan dalam penelitian ini menggunakan analisis dengan metode deskriktif kuantitatif. Hasil perhitungan pendapatan pada usahatani kakao rakyat di Desa Hilihambawa dimana di ketahui bahwa rata-rata penerimaan yang diperoleh oleh para petani responden dalam satu kali masa panen yaitu sebesar Rp 3.095.840 serta total pengeluran atau biaya yang dikeluarkan rata-rata berjumlah Rp 2.417.859 setiap musim panen dan memperoleh pendapatan rata-rata sebesar Rp 677.983 setiap petani responden setiap kali panen serta usahatani tanaman kakao masih dinyatakan layak untuk di usahakan serta terus dikembangkan kedepannya berdasarkan hasil dari uji kelayakan yang telah dilakukan dimana pada hasil uji R/C ratio, B/C ratio, dan BEP serta NVP yang sudah dilakukan menunjukan bahwa usahatanitani tanaman kakao rakyat ini yang diusahakan oleh para petani di lokasi penelitian masih layak dikembangkan dengan nilai uji diatas 1 berdasarkan analisis R/C ratio, BEP harga serta NPV dan tidak layak berdasarkan uji B/C dan BEP produksi. Cocoa farming is one source of income for farmers by maintaining and increasing the production they produce. This research aims to determine the income and feasibility of cocoa farming in cocoa (Theobroma Cacao L.) people (Case Study of Hilihambawa Village, Gunungsitoli Idanoi District, Gunungsitoli City). Sampling was carried out using the Census technique where the number of samples taken was 25 cocoa farmers from the entire population. Meanwhile, the data analysis used in this research uses analysis using quantitative descriptive methods. The results of income calculations for people's cocoa farming in Hilihambawa Village show that the average income obtained by respondent farmers in one harvest period is IDR 3,095,840 and the total expenditure or costs incurred are an average of IDR 2,417,859 per harvest season and earn an average income of Rp. 677,983 per respondent farmer each time they harvest and cocoa farming is still declared suitable for cultivation and will continue to be developed in the future based on the results of the feasibility test that has been carried out where the results of the R/C ratio, B/C test Ratio, and BEP and NVP that have been carried out show that the smallholder cocoa farming cultivated by farmers in the research location is still feasible to develop with a test value above 1 based on the R/C Ratio, BEP Price and NPV analysis and is not feasible based on the B/test. C and BEP production.
