dc.description.abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan memberikan informasi mengenai karakteristik kimia tanah pada beberapa penggunaan lahan di Kecamatan Batang Kuis Kabupaten Deli Serdang Provinsi sumatera Utara. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survey tanah dengan menggunakan satuan peta lahan (SPL) dengan pengamatan morfologi dan pengambilan sampel tanah yang ditentukan dengan titik koordinat melaui GPS (Global Positioning System) dan analisis di Laboraturium. Sifat kimia tanah kandungan nilai pH H2O dari delapan penggunaan lahan yang paling tinggi adalah pada TP 6 di lahan tegalan yang berkisar 5.1 (masam), sedangkan yang terendah pada TP 14 di lahan ubi kayu berkisar 4,73 (masam), (rendah). N-Total yang tertinggi pada TP 20 di penggunaan lahan sawah yaitu 0,9100% (tinggi). Sedangkan yang rendah adalah pada TP 33 di penggunaan lahan tanaman jagung yaitu 0,1359% (rendah). P (phosphor) yang terendah berada di TP 30 di penggunaan lahan sawah dengan nilai kandungan 0,0765%. Nilai fosfor (P) yang tertingi pada sampel TP 20 dipenggunaan lahan sawah berkisar 0.1504% (sangat rendah). K-Total yang tertingi pada TP 14 dipenggunaan lahan ubi kayu berkisar 0.2117% (rendah). Sedangkan yang terendah pada TP 32 0,0670% (sangat rendah) di lahan tanaman perkebunan kelapa sawit. KTK tertingi pada TP 32 dipenggunaan lahan Perkebunan Kelapa Sawit berkisar 18,6996 me/100g (sedang), sedangkan yang terendah pada TP 14 di lahan ubi kayu yaitu 8,3423 me/100g (rendah). Kejenuhan basa yang tinggi pada TP20 penggunaan lahan sawah berkisar 39,9377% (sedang), sedangkan kejenuhan basa yang sangat rendah pada TP 30 dan 32 dengan di lahan sawah dan perkebunan berkisar, yaitu 9,2773% (sangat rendah). Penilaian kesuburan tanah di Kecamatan Batang Kuis pada delapan penggunaan lahan yang telah diteli tergolong pada kesuburan tanah yang rendah. Yang disebabkan oleh, adanya faktor pembatas sepeti rendahnya kandungan C-Organik dan pH H2O. This study aims to examine and provide information about the chemical characteristics of the soil in several land uses in Batang Kuis District, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The method used is a soil survey method using land map units (SST) with morphological observations and soil sampling determined by coordinate points via GPS (Global Positioning System) and analysis in the Laboratory. The chemical properties of the soil contained the pH value of H2O from the eight land uses, the highest was at TP 6 in dry land which was around 5.1 (acid), while the lowest was at TP 14 in cassava land around 4.73 (acid) (low). The highest N-Total at TP 20 was in the use of paddy fields, namely 0.9100% (high). While the low one was at TP 33 in the land use of corn plants, namely 0.1359% (low). The lowest P (phosphorus) was at TP 30 in paddy field use with a content value of 0.0765%. The highest phosphorus (P) value in the TP 20 sample used in paddy fields was around 0.1504% (very low). The highest K-Total in TP 14 was cassava land use around 0.2117% (low). Meanwhile, the lowest at TP 32 was 0.0670% (very low) on oil palm plantations. The highest CEC was at TP 32 in the use of oil palm plantations around 18.6996 me/100g (medium), while the lowest was at TP 14 in cassava land which was 8.3423 me/100g (low). The high base saturation in TP20 using paddy fields is around 39.9377% (medium), while the very low base saturation in TP 30 and 32 in paddy fields and plantations is around 9.2773% (very low). The assessment of soil fertility in Batang Kuis District for the eight land uses that have been studied is classified as low soil fertility. This is caused by limiting factors such as low organic C content and H2O pH. | en_US |
