Pengaruh Pemberian Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit dan Pupuk Kascing Terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Produksi Tanaman Jagung Manis (Zea mays var saccharata Sturt)

Abstract

Jagung manis (Zea mays var saccharata Sturt) di Indonesia telah lama dibudidayakan oleh petani sebagai usaha tani, untuk meningkatkan produksi tanaman jagung manis dibutuhkan unsur hara yang cukup, salah satunya dengan pemberian tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) dan pupuk kascing. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan 2 ulangan. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti merupakan faktor pertama, perlakuan tandan kosong kelapa sawit (TKKS) terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu T0=control, T1=2,25 kg /plot, T2=2,7 kg/plot dan T3=3,15 kg/plot. Faktor yang kedua Pupuk Kascing terdiri 4 taraf yaitu K0= control, K1=0,3 kg/plot, K2=0,6 kg/plot dan K3=0,9 kg/plot. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah, tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, jumlah daun, berat tongkol dengan kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol dengan kelobot per plot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per plot. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Pemberian kompos tandan kosong kelapa sawit berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman dan diameter batang, tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah daun, berat tongkol dengan kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol dengan kelobot per plot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per plot. Sedangkan Pemberian pupuk kascing memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, diameter batang, dan jumlah daun, tidak berpengaruh nyata terhadap berat tongkol dengan kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per sampel, berat tongkol dengan kelobot per plot, berat tongkol tanpa kelobot per plot. This research method uses a factorial group (RAK) result study consisting of 2 factors with 16 combinations of events and 2 replications. The factors studied are the first factor, the impact of empty bunches of oil palm (TKKS) itself from 4 levels, namely T0 = control, T1=2.25 kg / plot, T2=2.7 kg / plot and T3=3.15 kg / plot. The second factor is separate manure 4 levels, namely K0 = control, K1=0.3 kg / plot, K2=0.6 kg/plot and K3=0.9 kg / plot. The parameters set in this study are, soil height, stem diameter, number of leaves, weight of cobs with petals per plot, weight of cobs with petals per plot, weight of cobs without petals per plot. The results showed that farmers compost empty bunches of oil palm has a lot of plant height and stem diameter, not much is found in the number of leaves, the weight of the cob with a kelob per sample, the weight of the cob without a kelob per sample, the weight of the cob with a kelob per plot, the weight of the cob without a kelob per plot. The number of stems, and the number of leaves, does not exceed the number of stems to the weight of cobs with kelobot per sample, the weight of cobs without kelobot per sample, the weight of cobs with kelobot per plot, the weight of cobs without kelobot per plot.
