Abstract: | Pada ruas Jalan Tol Pekanbaru-Padang akan dibuat jalan diatas permukaan tanah yang miring sehingga perlu penimbunan tanah agar elevasi tanah sesuai perencanaan. On the Pekanbaru-Padang Toll Road section, the road will be built on a sloping ground surface so it will be necessary to fill up the land so that the land elevation matches the plan. This can cause landslides if slope protection is not provided in the embankment area. Mechanically stabilized earth (MSE) Wall is an earth retaining wall that uses internal reinforcement in layers with a friction mechanism between the soil and the reinforcement material. In this research, an analysis of the application of Mechanically Stabilized Earth (MSE) Walls was carried out using the Rankine and Coulomb methods. The analysis results show stability against overturning force at Rankine SF = 4.37 > 1.5 (safe), stability against shear SF = 2.06 > 1.5 (safe), and stability analysis against overturning force at Coulomb SF = 8.51 > 1.5 (safe) stability against shear SF = 4.54 > 1.5 (safe), and bearing capacity results using CBR at point 1 = 0.52%, at point 2 = 1.03% and at point 3 1.37%. Conclusions obtained in analyzing the MSE wall calculations on the Pekanbaru-Padang Toll Road Project. In fact, for calculations using the Rankine and Coulomb methods it is safe to use, but for calculations of bearing capacity using CBR at point 1 it is not safe, point 2 and point 3 are safe to use. Because when testing the data produced is far from the specified location. |
