dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di Universitas Sumatera Utara tepatnya di Laboratorium Kimia Organik Bahan Alam Fakultas Matematika dan Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Universitas Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada Juni 2023 sampai Mei 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian adalah penelitian eksperimental dengan cara mengidentifikasi senyawa metabolit sekunder pada biji durian (Durio zibethinus Murr) yang direbus dan yang tidak direbus dan daun durian berasal dari Labuhan Batu Utara dengan metode skrining fitokimia. Dengan prosedur skrining fitokimia metabolit sekunder serbuk simplisia dengan cara diambil serbuk simplisia secukupnya, kemudian dimasukkan kedalam tabung reaksi, lalu dimasukkan pelarut yang sesuai, ditutup dengan plastik dan diikat denga karet, kemudian direndam selama kurang lebih 24 jam lalu disaring. Kemudian ekstrak simplisia dimasukkan secukupnya kedalam tabung reaksi, diuji dengan pereaksi yang sesuai, diamati perubahan yang terjadi, lalu dicatat hasilnya. Adapun pelarut yang sesuai dengan penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut: Flavonoid= Etil Asetat (CH3COOC2H5), Alkaloid= Etanol (C2H5OH), Steroid=n-heksan (C6H14), Terpenoid= Kloroform (CHCl3), Saponin=Metanol (CH3OH), Tanin= Metanol (CH3OH). Kemudian pereaksi dan perubahan warna sebagai berikut: Flavonoid= FeCl3 5% (Koloid Hitam) H2SO4 98 % (Larutan Orange Kekuningan) Mg.HCl (Larutan Merah Muda), Alkaloid= Mayer (Endapan Putih Kekuningan) Bouchardat (Endapan Merah Bata), steroid= Salkowsky (Larutan Merah) Liebermann-Burchard (Larutan Hijau Kebiruan), Terpenoid= Salkowsky (Larutan Merah) Liebermann-Burchard (Larutan Hijau Kebiruan), Saponin= Aquades+Pengocokan (Berbusa), Tanin=FeCl3 5% (Koloid Hitam). Hasil dari penelitian untuk senyawa metabolit sekunder, pada biji durian yang direbus yaitu Alkaloid, Plavonoid, Saponin, Terpenoid, Steroid, dan Tanin, Untuk senyawa metabolit sekunder pada biji durian yang tidak direbus yaitu Alkaloid, Saponin, Terpenoid, Steroid, Dan untuk senyawa metabolit sekunder pada daun durian yaitu Alkaloid dan Saponin. This research was carried out at the University of North Sumatra, specifically in the Natural Materials Organic Chemistry Laboratory, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of North Sumatra. This research was carried out from June 2023 to May 2023. The method used in the research was experimental research by identifying secondary metabolite compounds in boiled and unboiled durian seeds (Durio zibethinus Murr) and durian leaves from North Labuhan Batu using a phytochemical screening method. With the phytochemical screening procedure for secondary metabolites of simplicia powder, sufficient simplicia powder is taken, the put into a test tube, then added with the appropriate solvent, covered with plastic and tied with rubber, then soaked for approximately 24 hours then filtered. The put enough simplicia extract into a test tube, test it with the appropriate reagent, observe the changes that occur, then record the results. The solvents that are suitable for this research are as follows: Flavonoids= Ethyl Acetate (CH3COOC2H5), Alkaloids= Ethanol (C2H5OH), Steroids=n-hexane (C6H14), Terpenoids= Chloroform (CHCl3), Saponins=Methanol (CH3OH), Tanins = Methanol (CH3OH). Then the reagents and color changes are as follows: Flavonoids= FeCl3 5% (Black Colloid) H2SO4 98% (Yellowish Orange Solution) Mg. HCl (Pink Solution), Alkaloids= Mayer (Yellowish White Precipitate) Bouchardat (Brick Red Precipitate), steroids = Salkowsky (Red Solution) Liebermann-Burchard (Bluish Green Solution), Terpenoid= Salkowsky (Red Solution) Liebermann-Burchard (Bluish Green Solution), Saponin= Aquades+Shaking (Foaming), Tanin=FeCl3 5% (Black Colloid). The results of the research for secondary metabolite compounds in boiled durian seeds are Alkaloids, Flavonoids, Saponins, Terpenoids, Steroids, and Tanins. For secondary metabolite compounds in unboiled durian seeds, namely Alkaloids, Saponins, Terpenoids, Steroids, and for secondary metabolite compounds in durian leaves, namely Alkaloids. and Saponin.en_US
