Abstract: Bawang merah merupakan salah satu kelompok sayuran yang banyak dikonsumsi oleh masyarakat karena salah satu bahan yang dibutuhkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.bawang merah di indonesia sangat prospektif dan dapat dijadikan sebagai komoditas andalan mengingat dalam permintaan bawang merah yang terus mengalami peningkatan setiap tahunnya baik dipasar dalam dan luar negeri. Penelitian ini menggunakan Kompos Tandan Kosong Kelapa Sawit (TKKS) dan pemberian Zat Pengatur Tumbuh (ZPT) Paclobutrazol yang beperan sebagai mempercepat proses pembuahan diluar musim. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) Faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor dengan 16 kombinasi perlakuan dan 2 ulangan. Faktor-faktor yang diteliti merupakan faktor pertama perlakuan Kompos TKKS dari 4 taraf P0 = control, P1 = 187,5 gr/plot. P2 = 375 gr/plot dan P3 =562,5 gr/plot. Faktor yang kedua ZPT Paclobutrazol terdiri dari 4 taraf yaitu B0 = control, B1 = 30 ppm/tanaman, B2 = 45 ppm/tanaman, B3 = 60 ppm/tanaman. Parameter yang diamati dalam penelitian ini adalah, tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, jumlah umbi,berat basah dan berat kering. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Pemberian TKKS berpengaruh tidak nyata terhadap pengamatan parameter jumlah daun, jumlah umbi, namun berpengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, produksi berat kering per sampel dan produksi berat kering plot berpengaruh nyata, Serta TKKS berpengaruh sangat nyata pada produksi berat basah per sampel dan produksi berat basah per plot. Aplikasi ZPT tidak menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap pengamatan parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, produksi umbi basah per sampel, produksi umbi basah per plot, produksi umbi kering per sampel, dan produksi umbi kering per plot. Namun ini menunjukkan pengaruh nyata terhadap jumlah umbi. Shallots are a group of vegetables, which are consumed by all levels of society because they are one of the ingredients needed in everyday life. Shallot farmers in Indonesia are very prospective and can be used as a mainstay commodity considering that the demand for shallots continues to increase every year both in the domestic and foreign markets. To increase the productivity of shallots, it is necessary to use superior seeds, in addition to providing additional nutrients using Palm Oil Empty Compost and giving ZPT Hormone Paclobutrazol which plays a role in accelerating the fertilization process out of season. This research method used a factorial randomized block design (RBD) consisting of 2 factors with 16 treatment combinations and 2 replications. The factors studied were the first factors in the treatment of Oil Palm Empty Bunch Compost from 4 levels P0 = control, P1 = 187.5 gr/plot. P2 = 375 gr/plot and P3 = 562.5 gr/plot. The second factor was Paclobutrazol Hormone ZPT consisting of 4 levels, namely B0 = control, B1 = 30 ppm/plant, B2 = 45 ppm/plant, B3 = 60 ppm/plant. The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of leaves, number of tubers, fresh weight and dry weight. The results of this study indicate that the Application of EFB Compost Application of empty coconut bunches compost has no significant effect on the observed parameters of the number of leaves, number of tubers, but has a significant effect on plant height, production of dry weight per sample and dry weight production of plots has a significant effect. Meanwhile, the application of empty palm fruit bunches compost had a very significant effect on the production of fresh weight per sample and the production of fresh weight per plot. While the application of ZPT had no significant effect. The application of PGR hormone Paclobutrazol did not show a significant effect on growth. The parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, wet tuber production per sample, wet tuber production per plot, dry tuber production per sample, and dry tuber production per plot. However, the application of the ZPT hormone paclobutrazol showed a significant effect on the number of tubers.
