Hubungan Pola Asuh Demokratis dengan Kepercayaan Diri Remaja di MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan pola asuh demokratis terhadap kepercayaan diri remaja di MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan. Hipotesis dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang positif antara pola asuh demokratis dengan kepercayaan diri. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian korelasional dengan populasi sebanyak 100 siswa kelas II MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan, serta mengambil sampel dengan teknik total sampel sebanyak 100 siswa kelas II MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis data Product Moment. Hipotesis dalam hasil penelitian ini diterima, dengan hasil penelitian yang memperlihatkan bahwa pola asuh demokratis yang berhubungan positif dengan kepercayaan diri remaja, dimana pola asuh demokratis yang diterima siswa tergolong tinggi dan kepercayaan diri siswa tergolong tinggi. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan r = 0.528, dengan p = 0.00 dimana p< 0.05, dan kontribusi faktor pola asuh demokratis terhadap kepercayaan diri adalah sebesar 27.9%. The aim of this research is to determine the relationship between democratic parenting styles and adolescent self-confidence at MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan. The hypothesis of this research is that there is a positive relationship between democratic parenting and self-confidence. This research used a quantitative approach with a correlational research type with a population of 100 class II students at MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan, and took samples using a total sample technique of 100 class II students at MTS Islamiyah Guppi Medan. This research uses Product Moment data analysis techniques. The hypothesis in the results of this research is accepted, with the research results showing that democratic parenting is positively related to adolescent self-confidence, where the democratic parenting style received by students is relatively high and students' selfconfidence is relatively high. This is proven by r = 0.528, with p = 0.00 where p < 0.05, and the contribution of democratic parenting factors to self-confidence is 27.9%.
