dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di lahan percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Medan Area yang dilaksanakan pada November 2022 sampai dengan Januari 2023. Metode yang digunakan adalah rancangan acak kelompok (RAK Faktorial) yang terdiri atas dua faktor, yaitu kompos pelepah sawit terdiri atas 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu: A0 = control (tanpa kompos pelepah sawit), A1 = pemberian kompos pelepah sawit 1:1 (1 bagian top soil dan 1 bagian kompos), A2 pemberian kompos pelepah sawit 2:1 (2 bagian topsoil 1 bagian kompos), A3 pemberian kompos pelepah sawit 3:1 (3 bagian top soil 1 bagian kompos). Sedangkan Faktor ke dua adalah pemberian PGPR yang terdiri atas 4 taraf perlakuan, yaitu: P0 kontrol (tanpa pemberian PGPR), P1 pemberian PGPR 3% (30 ml per liter air), P2 pemberian PGPR 4% (40 ml per liter air), P3 pemberian PGPR 5% (50 ml per liter air). Parameter yang diamati adalah Tinggi tanaman (cm), luas daun (cm), biomassa basah, biomassa kering dan volume akar. Pemberian kombinasi antara kompos pelepah sawit dan PGPR mampu memberikan hasil yang berbeda nyata dibandingkan dengan tanaman kontrol. Perlakuan K3P3 memberikan hasil berbeda nyata di pengamatan biomassa basah, kering dan volume akar. This research was conducted at the experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Medan Area from November 2022 to January 2023. The method used was a group randomized design (RAK Factorial) consisting of two factors, namely palm frond compost consisting of 4 levels of treatment, namely: A0 = control (without palm frond compost), A1 = 1:1 palm frond compost (1 part top soil and 1 part compost), A2 2:1 palm frond compost (2 parts topsoil 1 part compost), A3 3:1 palm frond compost (3 parts top soil 1 part compost). While the second factor is the provision of PGPR which consists of 4 treatment levels, namely: P0 control (without PGPR), P1 3% PGPR (30 ml per liter of water), P2 4% PGPR (40 ml per liter of water), P3 5% PGPR (50 ml per liter of water). The parameters observed were plant height (cm), leaf area (cm), wet biomass, dry biomass and root volume. The combination of palm frond compost and PGPR can give significantly different results compared to the control plants. K3P3 treatment gave significantly different results in the observation of wet, dry biomass and root volume.en_US
