dc.description.abstract | Energi biogas adalah energi yang dihasilkan dari limbah organik seperti kotoran ternak, atau limbah dapur seperti sayuran yang sudah digunakan. Limbahlimbah tersebut akan melalui proses urai yang dinamakan anaerobik digester di ruang kedap udara. Penelitian ini berjudul kajian experimental komparasi bahan bakar gas (lpg) sebagai heater ruangan pada ternak ayam broiler, penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara eksperimen pada alat pemanas ruangan kandang yang berbahan bakar gas LPG, selain itu juga penelitian ini menggunakan beberapa jenis bahan bakar seperti biogas dan gas LPG. Dalam penelitian ada beberapa parameter dalam pengambilan data seperti konsumsi bahan bakar, suhu temperatur didalam ruangan, dan potensi biogas pada kotoran ternak ayam. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan biogas sebagai bahan bakar pemanas ruangan mencapai energi yang dibutuhkan. Diharapkan dengan penelitian ini dapat dijadikan sebagai referensi bahan bakar alternatif yang mampu mengurangi limbah kotoran pada ternak ayam. Biogas energy is energy produced from organic waste such as livestock manure, or kitchen waste such as used vegetables. This waste will go through a decomposition process called an anaerobic digester in an airtight room. This research is entitled a comparative experimental study of gas fuel (LPG) as a room heater in broiler chickens. This research was carried out by experimenting with cage space heaters that were fueled by LPG gas. Apart from that, this research also used several types of fuel such as biogas and LPG gas. In the research, there are several parameters in data collection such as fuel consumption, indoor temperature, and biogas potential in chicken manure. The research results show that the use of biogas as space heating fuel achieves the required energy.
