dc.description.abstractPenggunaan beton yang banyak digunakan sebagai komponen dalam proyek kontruksi, diperlukannnya usaha-usaha untuk menciptakan beton dengan mutu dan karakteristik yang tinggi. Pembuatan beton seiring dengan berjalannya waktu akan memerlukan biaya yang semakin mahal dikarenakan harga semen yang melambung tinggi. Untuk itu diperlukan bahan tambah untuk mengurangi jumlah campuran semen yang di gunakan dalam pembuatan beton. Pada saat ini perlunya dikembangkan pembuatan beton yang ramah lingkungan salah satunya menggunakan tambahan limbah bonggol jagung yang memiliki kandungan silika yang tinggi. Superplasticizer merupakan bahan tambah pencampur beton (admixtures) yang ditambahkan saat pengadukan dan atau saat pelaksanaan pengecoran (placing) untuk memperbaiki kinerja kekuatannya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh subtitusi abu bonggol jagung dan superplasticizer terhadap kuat tekan beton. Dengan variasi Subtitusi abu bonggol jagung 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%,15% dari berat semen dan superplasticizer sebesar 0.75 % dari berat air. Sampel pengujian kuat tekan beton yang digunakan adalah silinder dengan ukuran 15 x 30 cm sebanyak 24 benda uji. Pengujian dilakukan pada umur beton 7 dan 14 hari, Nilai kuat tekan beton normal pada penelitian ini adalah 18,18 Mpa dan 22,38 Mpa. Berdasarkan dari hasil pengujian kuat tekan beton dengan campuran abu bonggol jagung 3% + 0.75% superplasticizer dan beton abu bonggol jagung 6% + 0.75% superplasticizer mengalami peningkatan dibandingkan dengan beton normal. Sebaliknya, hasil kuat tekan beton campuran abu bonggol jagung 9% + 0,75% superplasticizer, abu bonggol jagung 12% + 0,75% superplasticizer dan abu bonggol jagung 15% + 0,75% superplasticizer mengalami penurunan. Nilai optimum kuat tekan beton dicapai pada kadar abu bonggol jagung 6% + 0,75 superplasticizer yaitu memiliki kuat tekan sebesar 19,86 MPa dan 24,34 Mpa. The use of concrete which is widely used as a component in construction projects, efforts are needed to create concrete with high quality and characteristics. Making concrete over time will require increasingly expensive costs due to soaring cement prices. For this reason, added materials are needed to reduce the amount of cement mixture used in making concrete. At this time, it is necessary to develop environmentally friendly concrete, one of which uses additional corn weevil waste which has a high silica content. Superplasticizer is an added material for concrete mixers (admixtures) that are added during stirring and or during casting (placing) to improve its strength performance. This study aims to determine the effect of corn weevil ash substitution and superplasticizer on concrete compressive strength. With variations of corn weevil ash substitution of 0%, 3%, 6%, 9%, 12%, 12%, 15% of the weight of cement and superplasticizer of 0.75% of the weight of water. The concrete compressive strength test sample used is a cylinder with a size of 15 x 30 cm. A total of 24 test specimens. Tests were carried out at a concrete age of 7 and 14 days, the compressive strength values of normal concrete in this study were 18.18 Mpa and 22.38 Mpa. Based on the results of compressive strength testing of concrete with a mixture of 3% + 0.75% superplasticizer corn weevil ash and 6% + 0.75% superplasticizer corn weevil ash concrete has increased compared to normal concrete. In contrast, the compressive strength yield of corn weevil ash mixture 9% + 0.75% superplasticizer, corn weevil ash 12% + 0.75% superplasticizer and corn weevil ash 15% + 0.75% superplasticizer decreased. The optimum value of compressive strength of concrete is achieved at corn weevil ash content of 6% + 0.75 superplasticizer, which has a compressive strength of 19.86 MPa and 24.34 Mpa.en_US
