Hubungan antara Kecerdasan Emosional dengan Kemampuan Mengatasi Konflik Keluarga (Orang Tua dan Anak) pada Siswa-Siswi SMU Negeri 14 Medan

Abstract

Kesimpulan Berdasarkan hasil-hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian mt, maka dapat disirnpulkan hal-hal sebagai berikut: 1. Terdapat hubungan yang positif yang sangat signifikan antara kecerdasan emosional dengan kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga pada siswa-siswi SMU Negeri 14 Medan (rxy = 0,808; p<0,010). Artinya semakin tinggi kecerdasan emosional maka semakin baik kemampuan mengatasi konflik ke luarga atau seba:liknya semakin rendah kecerdasan ernosional maka semakin kurang baik kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga. Dari hasil m1, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini dapat diterima. 2. Sumbangan efektif yang diberikan oleh kecerdasan emosional terhadap kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga sebesar 65,3%. Hal ini bedrti masih terdapat 34,7% faktor lain mempengaruhi kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga yang dalam penelitian ini tidak dilihat. Faktor atau variabel lain yang diperkirakan memiliki hubungan dengan kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga adalah rnotivasi, kepercayaan dan sikap yang salah, kebiasaan, perhatian, pengalaman, dan kreativitas. 3. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa siswa-siswi SMU Negeri 14 Medan memiliki kecerdasan emosional yang tinggi. Hal ini didapatkan dari perbandingan mean empirik atau nilai rata-rata dalam penelitian ini, yaitu 190,36 Jebih besar daripada mean hipotetik atau nilai rata-rata berdasarkan skala dari alat ukur yang digunakan, yaitu 150. Dalam kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga diketahui bahwa kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga siswa-siswi SMU Negeri 14 Medan memiliki kemampuan mengatasi konflik keluarga yang baik, karena mean empirik atau nilai rata-rata dalam penelitian ini yaitu 167,43 lebih besar daripada mean hipotetik atau nilai rata-rata skala dari alat ukur yang digunakan yaitu 132,5. Conclusion Based on the results obtained in mt research, it can be concluded the following matters: 1. There is a very significant positive relationship between intelligence emotional and the ability to resolve family conflicts in high school students Negeri 14 Medan (rxy = 0.808; p<0.010). This means higher intelligence emotional, the better the ability to resolve conflicts in the family or conversely, the lower the emotional intelligence, the less good it is ability to resolve family conflicts. From the results of m1, the hypothesis is proposed in this research is acceptable. 2. The effective contribution made by emotional intelligence to the ability to resolve family conflicts was 65.3%. This still means something There are 34.7% other factors that influence the ability to resolve family conflict which was not seen in this study. Other factors or variables that are estimated has a relationship with the ability to resolve family conflict is motivation, wrong beliefs and attitudes, habits, concerns, experiences, and creativity. 3. The results of this research show that the students of SMU Negeri 14 Medan have high emotional intelligence. This is obtained from comparison the empirical mean or average value in this study, namely 190.36, is greater than the hypothetical mean or average value based on the scale of the measuring instrument used used, namely 150. In the ability to resolve family conflict is known that the ability to resolve family conflicts of SMU Negeri 14 students Medan has the ability to resolve family conflicts well, because the mean The empirical or average value in this study is 167.43 which is greater than The hypothetical mean or average scale value of the measuring instrument used is 132.5.
