Abstract: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pengembangan karir terhadap semangat kerja kepegawaian dikantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Tipe Madya Pabean Bea Cukai Belawan, yang berjumlah 56 orang yamg dijadikan sampel penelitian. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan daftar pertanyakan ( Quesioner), yaitu dengan membuat daftar pertanyakan dalam bemtuk angket yang ditunjukan kepada para istansi kantor Pengawasan dan Pelayanan Tipe Madya Pabean Bea Cukai Belawan. Berdasarkan hasil uji hipotesis diterima. Hal tersebut beraeti bahwa pengembangan karir mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap semangat kerja kepegawaian. Hal ini berarti 53,7% variabel semangat kerja dapat dijelaskan oleh variabel pengembangan karir, sedangkan sisanya 46.3% dijelaskan oleh vaeiabel pengembangan karir,sedanglan sisamya 46,3% dikelaskan oleh variabel lain. Populasi adalah keseluruhan yang mempunyai ciri yang sama, kemudian diambil data yang samakemudian diambil data sebagai data il semua sehingga penelitianya merupakan populasi dan jumlah populasi lebih dari 100 orang dapat diambil 15%-30% dalam penelitian ini sampel yapenelitian. Apabila jumlah subjek kurang dari 100 orang lebih baik diambng diambil 30% dari kumlah populasi maka jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah berjumlah 56 orang. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of development career on employee morale in the Supervision and Service office Belawan Customs and Excise Intermediate Type, totaling 56 people used as a research sample. Data collection techniques use lists question (Questionnaire), namely by making a list of questions in in the form of a questionnaire shown to the supervisory office agencies and Belawan Customs and Excise Intermediate Type Services. Based on the results of the hypothesis test, it is accepted. This means that Career development has a significant influence on morale civil service work. This means that 53.7% of the work morale variable can be explained by career development variables, while the remaining 46.3% is explained by career development variable, while the remaining 46.3% is classified by variables other. A population is a whole that has the same characteristics, then the same data is taken, then the data is taken as all data so that The research is a population and the population can be more than 100 people 15% -30% of the research samples were taken in this research. If the amount Subjects of less than 100 people are better off taking 30% of the total population, the number of samples in this study was 56 people.
