Abstract: | Peranan jasa telekomunikasi di indonesia mengalami perkembangan yang cukup pesat, hal ini dapat kita lihat dengan banyaknya operator-operator seluler yang bersaing dalam bisnis penyedia jasa ini. Namun dalam hal ini PT. X1 Axiata Tbk yang menawarkan X1 pasca bayar dan Xl prabayar belum maksimal dalam memberikan pelayanan terbaik pada pelanggan mereka, seperti halnya pada kulaitas jaringan ynag sering terganggu serta hilangnya jaringan ketika listrik padam. Tidak hanya itu meskipun harga yang di yang di tawarkan PT. X1 Axiata Tbk yang menawarkan X1 pasca bayar dan X1 prabayar pada produk mereka bersaing namun kebijakan pada penetapan tarif yang selalau berubah-ubah dan sering memunculkan promo berlangganan dan akhirnya merugikan pelanggan mereka. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah kualitas pelayanan dan tarif harga berpenggaruh terhadap keputusan pembelian pada mahasiswa pengguna kartu XI di fakultas ekonomi Universitas Medan Area. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitiandeskriptif kuantitatif, yaitu jenis penelitian yang dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk memberikan gambaran atau deskripsi tentang suatu keadaan secara objektif yang dapat di ukur dengan angka atau numerik. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa manajemen pagi tahun ajaran 2011 yang berjumlah 56 orang, dengan 15 orang responden yang menggunakan kartu XI. The role of telecommunications services in Indonesia is experiencing quite rapid development, we can see this from the many cellular operators competing in the service provider business. However, in this case PT. X1 Axiata Tbk, which offers X1 postpaid and Xl prepaid, has not been optimal in providing the best service to their customers, such as network quality which is often disrupted and network loss when the power goes out. Not only that, even though the price offered by PT. X1 Axiata Tbk which offers X1 postpaid and X1 prepaid in their products is competitive but the policy on setting tariffs is always changing and often gives rise to subscription promotions and ultimately harms their customers. The aim of this research is to find out whether service quality and price rates influence purchasing decisions among students using XI cards at the economics faculty, Medan Area University.This type of research is quantitative descriptive research, namely the type of research carried out with the aim of providing an objective picture or description of a situation that can be measured using numbers or numbers. The population in this study were 56 morning management students for the 2011 academic year, with 15 respondents using XI cards. |
