Abstract: | Penelitian ini berjudul "Analisis Faktor-Faktor yang Mempengaruhi Keputusan Mahasiswa Memilih Fakultas Ekonomi Program Studi Manajemen Di Universitas Medan Area". Faktor-faktor yang menjadi indicator penelitian adalah marketing mix dalam pemasaran yang dikenal dengan 4P (Product, price, place, dan promotion). Tujuan dari penelitian ini adal ah untuk mengetahui pengaruh Product, price, place, dan promotion secara parsial dan simultan terhadap keputusan mahasiswa memilih Fakultas Ekonomi Program Studi Manajemen di UMA. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian asosiatif, data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer yang diperoleh dari hasil wawancara dan menyebarkan kuisioner/angket pada responden. Variabel Independennya adalah Product(Xl), price(X2), place(XJ), dan promotion(X4). Variabel dependennya adalah Keputusan Pembelian (Y). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan teknik analisis statistic yaitu; anali sis regresi linear berganda serta koefisien determinasi, dan diolah dengan menggunakan SPSS l 5.0 for Windows. Hasil dari pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa Product, price, place, dan promotion secara simultan berpengaruh positif terhadaf keputusan mahasiswa memilih Fakultas Ekonomi Program Studi Manajemen di UMA, terlihat dari nilai F Hi tung (8,871) 2: F Tabel (2 ,56) dan nil ai R square adalah sebesar 0,441/44, 1 %, hal ini berarti 44, 1 % keputusan mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh factor Product, price, place, dan promotion, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 55 ,9% keputusan mahasiswa dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam penelitian. This research is entitled "Analysis of Influencing Factors Student Decisions in Choosing the Faculty of Economics Study Program Management at Medan Area University". Factors that serve as indicators research is a marketing mix in marketing known as 4P (Product, price, place and promotion). The aim of this research is to knowing the influence of Product, price, place, and promotion partially and simultaneous with students' decisions to choose the Faculty of Economics Program Management Studies at UMA. This type of research is associative research, the data used in This research is primary data obtained from interviews and distributing questionnaires/questionnaires to respondents. The Independent Variable is Product(Xl), price(X2), place(XJ), and promotion(X4). The dependent variable is the Purchase Decision (Y). Data were analyzed using statistical analysis techniques, namely; analysis multiple linear regression and coefficient of determination, and processed with using SPSS l 5.0 for Windows. The results of data processing show that Product, price, place, and promotion simultaneously have a positive effect regarding the student's decision to choose the Faculty of Economics Study Program Management at UMA, seen from the F Count value (8.871) 2: F Table (2.56) and the ai value R square is 0.441/44.1%, this means 44.1% of student decisions influenced by product, price, place and promotion factors, while the rest 55.9% of student decisions are influenced by other factors that are not included in the study. |
