Hubungan Lay Out Pabrik dengan Efisiensi Produksi pada PT. Tales Inti Sawit di Kabupaten Deliserdang

Abstract

Berdasarkan hasil penelitian pendahuluan yang telah dilakukan, ditemukan adanya masalah yang dihadapi perusahaan berkenaan dengan plant layout pabrik dalam proses produksinya, yang dirumuskan sebagai berikut: " Masih kurang tepatnya layout sehingga kurang mencapai tingkat efisiensi dan produktiviuis pehtsahaan ". PT. Tales Inti Sawit Di Kabupaten Deli Serdang memproduksi dua jenis' produk: yaitu minyak sawit dan inti sawit dengan proses produk:si secara terns menerus. Pertisahaan memiliki kapasitas produksi 60 ton I jam Tandan Buah Segar (TBS) yang beroperasi nonstop kecuali hari libur. Bahan baku yang dipergunakan untuk: menghasilkan minyak sawit dan inti sawit sebagai output adalah Tandan Buah Segar (TBS). Dalam proses produksinya .tidak menggunakan bahan baku penolong atau pembantu, jadi hanya dari satu jenis bahan baku (TBS). Disamping minyak sawit dan inti sawit yang merupakan basil produksi utama perusahaan, masih ada lagi produk sampingan yang dihasilkan yaitu tempurung kefapa sawit ( cangkang) yang digunakan sebagai bahan bakar. Proses produksi untuk: menghasilkan minyak sawit dan inti sawit yang dilaksanakan pada PT. Tales Inti Sawit di Kabupaten Deli Serdang adalah proses produksi yang terus menerus, dimana susunan daripada mesin pengolahan dibuat berturut - turut sehingga bahan yang akan diproses mengalir dari mesin pertama sampai mesin terakhir (sistem ban berjalan). Didalam penempatan mesin dan fasilitas - fasilitas produksi perusahaan membuat'beberapa perimbangan yaitu: 1. Produk yang dihasilkan. 2. Urutan produksi. 3. Tersedianya ruangan. 4. Keseimbangan dari kapasitas mesin. 5. Ruang gerak dari karyawan. 6. Material handling. Dari analisis dan evaluasi yang telah dilakukan, penulis berkesimpulan bahwa: 1. Plant Layout disusun berdasarkan product layout dimana produksi berjalan dari satu proses ke proses lainnya. 2. Letak fasilitas pabrik sudah dapat mendukung peningkatan efisiensi dan produktivitas perusahaan, karena sudah disusunan dengan pertimbangan bagaimana dan dimana ditempatkan fasilitas tersebut mempengaruhi: a. Efisiensi dan produktivitas kerja b. Laba perusahaan c. Kelangsungan hidup perusahaan 3. Relisasi produksi yang dihasilkan perusahaan ini dari tahun ke tahun pada dasamya selalu meningkat namun target yang ditetapkan tidak tercapai hal ini mungkin karena target yang ditetapkan terlalu tinggi, di samping itu factor alam juga mempengaruhi hasil panen TBS sehingga bahan yang akan diolah berkurang. The company has a production capacity of 60 tons per hour of fruit bunches Segar (TBS) which operates non-stop except holidays. The raw materials used to: produce palm oil and palm kernel as output is Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB). In the production process, no using auxiliary or auxiliary raw materials, so only from one type raw materials (FFB). Besides palm oil and palm kernel which are basil The company's main production, there are still other by-products produced namely palm kernel shells (shells) which are used as fuel. Production process to: produce palm oil and palm kernel carried out at PT. Palm Kernel Tales in Deli Serdang Regency is a process continuous production, where the arrangement of processing machines is made successively so that the material to be processed flows from the machine first to last machine (conveyor belt system). In the placement of machines and company production facilities make several balances, namely: 1. Products produced. 2. Production sequence. 3. Availability of space. 4. Balance of machine capacity. 5. Space for employees to move. 6. Material handling. From the analysis and evaluation that has been carried out, the author concludes that: 1. Plant Layout is arranged based on the product layout where production runs from one process to another. 2. The location of factory facilities can support increased efficiency and company productivity, because it has been prepared with consideration How and where these facilities are located affects: a. Work efficiency and productivity b. Corporate profits c. Corporate survival 3. Realization of production produced by this company from year to year Basically it always increases but the target set is not achieved, this may be because the target set is too high, in addition natural factors also influence the yield of FFB harvest so that the material to be processed decreases.
