Box Culvert is a closed water channel that can minimize the entry of rubbish into the channel so that the water flow is not disturbed and generally this channel is underground or on a highway. In calculating the Box Culvert structure, the lateral earth pressure theory of Coulomb and Rankine is used to calculate the earth pressure acting on the Box Culvert. For the Box Culvert structure, the SAP2000 program is used to calculate the internal forces acting on the Box Culvert structure as a result of the soil load on the structure. The results of the Box Culvert planning obtained are the dimensions of the regulations used in the design of the Box Culvert structure. Bridge loading refers to SNI 1725-2016, while the earthquake load used is SNI 2833:201. Box Culvert is 6.2m long with a width of 2.3m and a height of 1.4m. 20m with a width of 4 m and a height of 4m. Box Culvert Dimensions The thickness of the floor plate (t1) is 0.3m, wall plate (t2) 0.3m and for the foundation plate on the box culvert (t3) 0.5m. The dimensions of the Box Culvert wing wall are calculated by Wing wall length (c) 1.4m. Furthermore, the height of the wing wall at the end (d) is 0.3m and the thickness of the wing wall (Tw) is 0.3m. So that the planned Box Culvert is able to withstand the train load. | en_US |
