dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kepribadian Hardiness terhadap stres kerja pada frontliner di Bank BRI Cab. Gatsu, dan SM.Raja, di Medan. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah para karyawan customer service yang bergender perempuan sebanyak 44 orang. Masalah difokuskan pada tingkat stres kerja karyawan dan Hardiness. Guna mendekati masalah ini menggunakan acuan teori stres kerja (Robbins, 2017), dan skala hardiness yang dikonstruksi berdasarkan teori Maddi (2006). Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah self report measure dan dianalisis secara kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan analisis regresi sederhana menunjukkan bahwa Hardiness memiliki pengaruh sebesar 0,382. Hal ini menyatakan bahwa Hardiness mempengaruhi stress kerja sebesar 38,2 % yang termasuk dalam kategori sangat rendah. Hasil ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pemahaman tentang bagaimana karakteristik seperti hardiness dapat memengaruhi tingkat stres kerja, serta memberikan implikasi praktis bagi manajemen sumber daya manusia dalam merancang program-program pengembangan karyawan untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kinerja karyawan frontliner. This research aimed to determine the influence of the Hardiness personality on work stress among frontline employees at Branch Bank of BRI Gatsu and SM Raja in Medan. The subjects of this research were 44 female customer service employees. The problem was focused on the level of work stress and hardiness of employees. To approach this problem, the author used work stress theory as a reference (Robbins, 2017) and a hardiness scale constructed based on Maddi's (2006) theory. The data collection method used was a self-report measure and was analyzed quantitatively, using simple regression analysis, which showed that Hardiness influenced 0.382. This indicated that it influenced work stress by 38.2%, which was included in the very low category. These results contributed to the understanding of how traits such as hardiness could influence work stress levels, as well as providing practical implications for human resource management in designing employee development programs to improve the well-being and performance of frontline employees.en_US
