dc.description.abstractTujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui apakah ada hubungan komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja pada pegawai Poltekkes Kemenkes Medan. Metode yang digunakan adala kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi secara keseluruhan sebanyak 50 orang dengan sampel 50 orang dengan teknik total sampel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis dengan metode analisis korelasional, diketahui bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kepuasan kerja dilihat dari nilai koefisien korelasi (Rxy) = 0,634 dengan p = 0.000 < 0.050 artinya hipotesis diterima. Dalam penelitian ini, nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) yang diperolah ialah 0,401 yang artinya kontribusi komunikasi interpersonal terhadap kepuasan kerja sebesar 40,1%. Dalam penelitian ini komunikasi interpersonal pegawai tergolong rendah, berdasarkan pada nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh (65,94) lebih kecil dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik (75). Selanjutnya diketahui bahwa kepuasan kerja pada pegawai juga tergolong rendah, hal tersebut berdasarkan pada nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh (64,46) lebih kecil dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik (70). This research aimed to find out the correlation between interpersonal communication and job satisfaction among employees of the Medan Health Polytechnic of the Ministry of Health. The method used was quantitative. The total population was 50 people with a sample of 50 people using the total sample technique. Based on the results of the analysis using the correlational analysis method, it was known that there was a significant positive correlation between interpersonal communication and job satisfaction as seen from the correlation coefficient (Rxy) = 0.634 with p = 0.000 < 0.050, which means the hypothesis was accepted. In this research, the coefficient of determination (R²) obtained was 0.401, which means that the contribution of interpersonal communication to job satisfaction was 40.1%. In this study, employees' interpersonal communication was classified as low, based on the empirical mean value obtained (65.94), which was lower than the hypothetical average mean (75). Furthermore, it was known that employees' job satisfaction was also relatively low, this was based on the empirical mean value obtained (64.46), which was lower than the hypothetical mean value (70).en_US
