Abstract: Persepsi merupakan suatu tanggapan langsung yang dapat di terima melalui panca indera untuk mengatur, menyusun, mengartikan suatu subjek ataupun objek yang di lihat individu. Harapan adalah suatu keinginan individu untuk mendapatkan perubahan dari subjek yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara persepsi dengan harapan Siswa terhadap Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling ideal di SMA Negeri 3 Medan. Penelitian ini menggunakan tipe penelitian kuantitatif. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa yang memiliki persepsi dan harapan terhadap Guru Bimbingan Dan Konseling Ideal. Teknik sampling yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah people random sampling. Metode analisis data yaitu pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan statistik dengan metode Korelasi Product Moment Pearson. Hasil dari penelitian ini bahwa koefisien korelasi sebesar 0,660 menentukan bahwa ada hubungan negatif antara persepsi dengan harapan siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis diketahui persepsi siswa tergolong buruk (mean hipotetik =37,5 > mean empirik 31,55) dan harapan siswa tergolong buruk juga (mean hipotetik 52,5 > mean empirik = 45,12). Perception is a direct response that can be received through the five senses to organize, organize and interpret a subject or object that an individual sees. Hope is an individual's desire to obtain change from the desired subject. This research aims to determine the relationship between perceptions and students' expectations of the ideal Guidance and Counseling Teacher at SMA Negeri 3 Medan. This research uses a quantitative research type. The subjects in this research were students who had perceptions and expectations of the Ideal Guidance and Counseling Teacher. The sampling technique used in this research is people random sampling. The data analysis method is data processing using statistical calculations using the Pearson Product Moment Correlation method. The results of this research are that the correlation coefficient of 0.660 determines that there is a negative relationship between students' perceptions and expectations. Based on the results of the analysis, it is known that student perceptions are classified as bad (hypothetical mean = 37.5 > empirical mean 31.55) and student expectations are also classified as bad (hypothetical mean 52.5 > empirical mean = 45.12).
