dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini telah dilaksanakan mulai bulan Januari sampai Maret 2023 di Desa Telaga Jernih Trans Blok H Kecamatan Secanggang Kabupaten Langkat Provinsi Sumatera Utara. Hijauan pakan merupakan sumber makanan utama bagi ternak untuk dapat bertahan hidup, berproduksi serta berkembang biak. Produksi ternak yang tinggi perlu didukung oleh ketersediaan hijaun yang cukup, tetapi produksi hijaun sepanjang tahun berubah tergantung pada musimnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) faktorial yang terdiri dari 2 faktor perlakuan, yaitu : 1. Pupuk kandang sapi yang terdiri dari 4 taraf. K0 = Kontrol (Tanpa pemberian Pupuk kandang sapi) K1 = Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi 70,6 gram/tanaman ( 1 ton/ha ) K2 = Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi 211,8 gram/tanaman ( 3 ton/ha ) K3 = Pemberian pupuk kandang sapi 353 gram/tanaman ( 5 ton/ha ) 2. Komposisi media tanam yang terdiri dari 4 taraf. M0 = Kontrol ( 100% Sub soil) M1 = 10% Pasir 90% Sub soil) M2 = 20% Pasir 80% Sub soil) M3 = 30% Pasir 70% Sub soil). Hasil Penelitian ini pemberian pupuk kandang sapi memberikan pengaruh yang nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, Luas daun, dan panjang daun. Pemberian komposisi media tanam memberikan pengaruh nyata terhadap tinggi tanaman, luas daun, panjang daun, berat segar per tanaman dan berat kering per tanaman. This research was carried out from January to March 2023 in Telaga Jernih Trans Blok H Village, Secanggang District, Langkat Regency, North Sumatra Province. Forage is the main source of food for livestock to survive, produce and reproduce. High livestock production needs to be supported by sufficient forage availability, but forage production throughout the year changes depending on the season. This study used a factorial Randomized Block Design (RBD) method which consisted of 2 treatment factors, namely: 1. Cow manure consisting of 4 levels. K0 = Control (without cow manure application) K1 = Cow manure application 70.6 gram/plant (1 ton/ha) K2 = Cow manure application 211.8 gram/plant (3 ton/ha) K3 = Fertilizer application cattle pen 353 gram/plant (5 tons/ha) 2. The composition of the planting medium which consists of 4 levels. M0 = Control (100% Sub soil) M1 = 10% Sand 90% Sub soil) M2 = 20% Sand 80% Sub soil) M3 = 30% Sand 70% Sub soil). The results of this study the application of cow manure had a significant effect on plant height, leaf area, and leaf length. The composition of the growing media had a significant effect on plant height, leaf area, leaf length, fresh weight per plant and dry weight per plant.en_US
