This research aims to determine the effectiveness of empty oil palm fruit bunch compost on the development and growth of tomato plants on plant height, number of leaves, number of fruit and fruit weight produced which is also useful as a source of scientific information about the effectiveness of empty oil palm fruit bunch compost on plant development and growth tomatoes with a method carried out using the Experimental method with data analysis carried out using a non factorial Completely Randomized Design. The research stages carried out consisted of preparing planting media, providing compost for empty oil palm fruit bunches and tomato plant seeds, sowing tomato seeds in the initial planting media, basic fertilization of tomato plants, applying compost to tomato plants, measuring observation parameters for tomato plants and Data analysis was carried out every week for 12 weeks after planting. The research results showed that the total weight of TKKS compost which had an influence on the growth of tomato plants was 75 gr and 100 gr with an average plant height of 94,3 cm and 100,7 cm; the average number of leaves was 246 and 310,3 leaves and the average number of fruit was 15,7 and 19 fruits. In general, the weight of tomatoes ranges between 100-150 gr/fruit, while the provision of TKKS compost on the average weight of the fruit produced is only 3,57 gr/fruit.en_US
