dc.description.abstract | Mesin plastic injection molding vertical berperan dalam proses pemanasan dan penyuntikan material plastik menuju cetakan. Mesin ini dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu alternatif dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang ditimbulkan akibat limbah plastik yaitu dengan cara mengolah limbah plastik menjadi produk yang lebih bermanfaat. Mesin ini memiliki keunggulan yaitu dapat mempercepat proses produksi karena lebih efektif jika dibandingkan dengan penggunaan tenaga manusia atau dengan proses produksi manual. Dalam penelitian ini akan dilakukan perancangan mesin yang meliputi pemilihan komponen dan bahan yang akan digunakan pada mesin plastic injection molding vertical serta desain atau gambar dari mesin yang akan dibuat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif melalui survei dan pengamatan secara langsung kelapangan pada subjek penelitian. Beberapa hal yang diamati dalam perancangan ini yaitu komponen pneumatik, sistem pemanas, dan dimensi bagian-bagian mesin. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam perancangan ini berupa data-data spesifikasi komponen dan bahan yang akan digunakan pada mesin serta gambar teknik atau desain dari mesin. Pemilihan spesifikasi komponen dan bahan yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan dapat membantu mesin beroperasi dengan baik, serta penggunaan solidworks software yang sangat membantu untuk membuat gambar teknik dan memberikan gambaran detail dari mesin yang akan dibuat. The vertical plastic injection molding machine plays a role in the process of heating and injecting plastic material into the mold. This machine can be used as an alternative to overcome problems caused by plastic waste, namely by processing plastic waste into more useful products. This machine has the advantage of being able to speed up the production process because it is more effective compared to using human power or manual production processes. In this research, the machine design was carried out, which included the selection of components and materials that would be used in the vertical plastic injection molding machine, as well as the design or drawing of the machine that would be made. The research method used was a quantitative method through surveys and direct observation of the research subjects. Several things that were observed in this design were pneumatic components, heating systems, and dimensions of machine parts. The results obtained in this design were in the form of component and material specification data to be used in the machine as well as technical drawings or designs of the machine. The selection of components and material specifications according to the needs could help the machine work well, as well as the use of Solidworks software, which was very helpful in making technical drawings and providing a detailed picture of the machine to be manufactured. | en_US |
