Abstract: komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan minat belajar siswa kelas IX di SMP Negeri 2 Marbau. Salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi minat belajar adalah komunikasi interpersonal. Adapun sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 98 siswa. Pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan analisis korelasi product moment, dapat diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif antara komunikasi interpersonal guru dengan minat belajar. Hasil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,647, dengan Signifikan p= 0,000 < 0,05. Berdasarkan hasil uji mean dapat disimpulkan bahwa komunikasi guru memperoleh hasil rendah dengan mean hipotetik sesesar 75 dan mean empiric sebesar 62,89. Selanjutnya minat belajar memperoleh hasil rendah dengan nilai hipotetik sebesar 57,5 dan empiric sebesar 48,29. Koefisien determinan (r2) dari hubungan antara variabel bebas dan variabel terikat adalah r2= 0,418 Ini menunjukkan bahwa komunikasi interpersonal guru kontribusinya sebesar 41,8% terhadap minat belajar. Hal ini menunjukkan 58,2 % faktor lain yang mempengaruhi minat belajar seperti faktor internal,eksternal, hobi, teman pergaulan, lingkungan dan keluarga. Interpersonal communication between teachers and students' interest in learning in class IX at SMP Negeri 2 Marbau. One of the factors that influences interest in learning is interpersonal communication. The sample in this study was 98 students. Data collection uses a Likert scale. Based on the results of product moment correlation analysis calculations, it can be seen that there is a positive relationship between teacher interpersonal communication and interest in learning. This result is proven by the correlation coefficient rxy = 0.647, with significant p = 0.000 < 0.05. Based on the results of the mean test, it can be concluded that teacher communication obtained low results with a hypothetical mean of 75 and an empirical mean of 62.89. Furthermore, interest in learning obtained low results with a hypothetical value of 57.5 and an empirical value of 48.29. The determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable and the dependent variable is r2= 0.418. This shows that teacher interpersonal communication contributes 41.8% to learning interest. This shows that 58.2% of other factors influence interest in learning such as internal, external factors, hobbies, social friends, environment and family.
