Abstract: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan media sosial TikTok terhadap eksistensi diri. Teori yang digunakan adalah uses and gratifications. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian survey. Responden pada penelitian ini adalah siswa-siswi kelas X tahun ajaran 2022/2023 SMA Sultan Iskandar Muda. Teknik penarikan sampel memakai purposive sampling dengan rumus slovin diperoleh sampel sebanyak 81 siswa. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier sederhana. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil uji t dengan taraf signifikasi 10% diperoleh nilai t tabel sebesar 1,292 nilai t hitung diperoleh sebesar 16,229. Maka nilai ini membuktikan bahwa t hitung > t tabel. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi membuktikan penggunaan media sosial TikTok mampu mempengaruhi eksistensi diri sebesar 76,9% dan 23,1 % dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor lain. This research aimed to explain how much the use of TikTok social media affects self-existence. The theories used were uses and gratifications. This research used a quantitative approach with a survey research method. The respondents in this research were Class X students for the academic year 2022/2023 of SMA Sultan Iskandar Muda. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling using the Slovin formula to obtain a sample of 81 students. The data analysis used was simple linear regression analysis. The research results showed that Ho was rejected and Ha was accepted. This was shown by the t-test results with a significance level of 10%, the t-table value was 1.292 and the calculated t-value was 16.229. Thus, this value proved that t count > t table. The results of the coefficient of determination test proved that the use of TikTok social media could influence the self-existence of 76.9% and 23.1% was influenced by other factors.
