dc.description.abstractChild adverse experience yang dialami seseorang dapat berdampak hingga masa dewasa, yang dimana dapat menyebabkan seseorang tersebut mengalami kesulitan dalam mengendalikan emosi. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui bagaimana bentuk kecerdasan emosional pada remaja yang mengalami child adverse experience. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan menggunakan fenomenologi. Responden sebanyak dua orang remaja akhir yang berusia 19 dan 20 tahun, memiliki trauma masa kecil yang menyebabkan gangguan emosi. Amalisis data menggunakan teknik wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelian yang di lakukan dapat disimpulkan bahwa responden RA mendapat pengalaman buruk dari lingkungan keluarga, keadaan keluarga yang kurang harmonis dan kekerasan fisik yang berdampak pada emosi responden, seperti sulit mengutarakan emosi, menarik diri dari keluarga dan lingkungan, menyembunyikan rasa sedih, dan menyiksa diri saat sedang sedih maupun marah. Responden RA mau melukai dirinya saat sedang sedih dengan memukul tembok dengan tangan nya. Responden NG mendapat pengalaman buruk (trauma) dari lingkungan keluarga. Keluarga yang kurang harmonis dan tumbuh besar tanpa sosok orang tua membuat responden merasa kurang kasih sayang dan perhatian dari orang tuanya. Responden NG juga merasa diperlakukan berbeda dengan saudara lainnya. Luka batin yang di alami responden sejak kecil berdampak pada emosi responden NG yang tidak stabil, seperi melarikan diri dari rumah, perasaan sedih yang berlebihan dan amarah yang disalurkan berbentuk diam. Child adverse experiences experienced by a person can have an impact until adulthood, which can cause a person to experience difficulty in controlling emotions. This research aims to find out what emotional intelligence looks like in teenagers who have experienced adverse child experiences. This research uses qualitative methods using phenomenology. The respondents were two late teenagers aged 19 and 20 years, who had childhood trauma that caused emotional disturbances. Data analysis uses interview, observation and documentation techniques. From the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that RA respondents had bad experiences from the family environment, less harmonious family conditions and physical violence which had an impact on the respondents' emotions, such as difficulty expressing emotions, withdrawing from family and environment, hiding feelings of sadness, and torture. yourself when you are sad or angry. Respondent RA wanted to hurt himself when he was sad by hitting the wall with his hand. NG respondents had bad experiences (trauma) from their family environment. Families that are less harmonious and growing up without parental figures make respondents feel less love and attention from their parents. NG respondents also felt they were treated differently from other relatives. The emotional wounds experienced by respondents since childhood had an impact on NG respondents' unstable emotions, such as running away from home, excessive feelings of sadness and anger that was channeled in silence.en_US
