Hubungan antara Komunikasi Interpersonal dengan Keharmonisan Keluarga pada Istri yang Bekerja sebagai Karyawan di Kecamatan Medan Petisah

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan kehannonisan keluarga, dimana yang menJadi sampel penelitian adalah para istri yang bekerja sebagai karya\van_ Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian dibuktikan dengan menggunakan teknik korelasi Product Moment, dimana diperoleh sebagai berikut: a)_ Terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara komunikasi interpersonal dengan keharmonisan keluarga. Basil ini dibuktikan dengan koefisien korelasi rxy = 0,621 ; sig < 0,010. Dengan asumsi sernakin baik komunikasi interpersonal, maka semakin tineei kebarmonisan keluarga, dan sebahknya semakin buruk komunikasi interpersonal, maka semakin rendah kehannonisan keluarga_ Dengan demikian maka hipotesis yang telah diajukan dalam penelitian ini, dinyatakan diter1ma. b). Komunikasi interpersonal memberikan pengaruh sebesar 38,6% terhadap kehannonisan keluarga_ Hal ini berarti masih terdapat 61 ,4% pengaruh dari faktor-faktor dimana dalarn penelitian ini tidak dikaji. Hasil lain yang diperoleh diketahui bahwa ko_munikasi interpersonal yang terjadi dalam keluarga sampel penelitian, berada pada kategori sedang, kemudian dalam hal kehannonisan keluarga juga tergolong sedang.
