Kontribusi Wanita Pengrajin Mie Rajang terhadap Pendapatan Keluarga (Studi Kasus: di Desa Pegajahan Kecamatan Pegajahan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kontribusi wanita pengrajin mie rajang terhadap pendapatan keluarga. Teknik pengambilan sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh, yaitu pengambilan sampel dengan cara mengambil seluruh jumlah pemilik pengrajin keripik mie rajang wanita di Desa Pegajahan Kecamatan Pegajahan Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai untuk memperoleh pendapatan bagi keluarga. Hasil penelitian proses produksi mie rajang menggunakan peralatan dan bahan yang cukup sederhana. Ubi yang di gunakan pada proses pembuatan mie rajang adalah ubi kayu lampung dan yang paling sering di buat menjadi mie rajang ubi kayu genderuwo. Pengolahan ubi kayu menjadi mie rajang merupakan kerajinan yang di tekuni untuk membantu ekonomi keluarga. Selain itu rata-rata istri menjadi pemilik usaha pengrajin mie rajang dengan arti kata seluruh proses produksi sampai hasil produksi di jalankan oleh istri. Pendapatan istri sebagai pengrajin mie rajang berkontribusi besar terhadap pendapatan keluarga. Dengan adanya usaha istri sebagai pengrajin mie rajang mampu meningkatkan pendapatan keluarga. Meskipun suami atau anggota keluarga lain nya bekerja, faktanya di daerah penelitian pendapatan suami lebih rendah dari pendapatan istri sebagai pengrajin mie rajang. This study aims to find out how the contribution of women craftsmen of chopped noodles to family income. The sampling technique in this study used a saturated sample technique, namely sampling by taking all the owners of female chopped noodle chips craftsmen in Pejahan Village, Pejahan District, Serdang Bedagai Regency to earn income for the family. the results of research on the production process of chopped noodles using fairly simple equipment and materials. The cassava used in the process of making chopped noodles is Lampung cassava and the one most often made into genderuwo cassava sliced noodles. Processing cassava into chopped noodles is a craft that is pursued to help the family economy. Besides that, on average, the wife becomes the owner of the chopped noodle craftsman business, meaning that the entire production process up to the production is run by the wife. The wife's income as a noodle craftsman contributes greatly to the family income. With the wife's business as a chopped noodle craftsman, she is able to increase family income. Even though the husband or other family members work, the fact is that in the study area the husband's income is lower than the wife's income as a craftsman of chopped noodles.
