Analisis Daya Saing dan Inovasi UMKM Frozen Food di Kota Medan

Abstract

Adapun tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis tingkat inovasi pengusaha UMKM Frozen Food di Kota Medan, untuk menganalisis tingkat daya saing pengusaha UMKM Frozen Food di Kota Medan, menganalisis pengaruh inovasi terhadap daya saing pengusaha UMKM Frozen Food di Kota Medan. Lokasi penelitian dilaksanakan di Kota Medan, Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 50 pelaku usaha UMKM Frozen Food. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data primer dan data sekunder, metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan menggunakan SEM-PLS. Tingkat inovasi memiliki skor sebesar 233, dengan presentase sebesar 93,18% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Untuk skor rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada indikator kuantitas produk dan desain produk dengan skor masing-masing 237 dengan presentase 94,72%, sedangkan indikator dengam skor rata-rata terendah terdapat pada perluasan produk dengan skor 222 dengan presentase 88,88%. Tingkat daya saing memiliki skor sebesar 238, dengan presentase sebesar 95,30% dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Untuk skor rata-rata tertinggi terdapat pada indikator pangsa pasar dan sertifikasi dengan skor masing-masing 239 dengan presentase 95,52%, sedangkan indikator dengam skor rata-rata terendah terdapat pada harga dengan skor 236 dengan presentase 94,56%. Pengaruh inovasi terhadap daya saing menunjukkan pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan, nilai t-statistik inovasi (INO) terhadap daya saing (DS) adalah sebesar 2,275 < t-tabel yaitu 2,008. Selain itu, nilai P-Value yang dihasilkan yaitu 0,023 (<0,05). The aim of this research is to analyze the level of innovation of Frozen Food MSME entrepreneurs in Medan City, to analyze the level of competitiveness of Frozen Food MSME entrepreneurs in Medan City, to analyze the influence of innovation on the competitiveness of Frozen Food MSME entrepreneurs in Medan City. The location of the research was carried out in Medan City. The number of samples in this research was 50 Frozen Food MSME business actors. The data used in this research are primary data and secondary data, the data analysis method used is SEM-PLS. The level of innovation has a score of 233, with a percentage of 93.18% in the very high category. The highest average score is in the product quantity and product design indicators with a score of 237 each with a percentage of 94.72%, while the indicator with the lowest average score is product expansion with a score of 222 with a percentage of 88.88%. The level of competitiveness has a score of 238, with a percentage of 95.30% in the very high category. The highest average score is in the market share and certification indicators with a score of 239 each with a percentage of 95.52%, while the indicator with the lowest average score is price with a score of 236 with a percentage of 94.56%. The influence of innovation on competitiveness shows a positive and significant influence, the t-statistic value of innovation (INO) on competitiveness (DS) is 2.275 < t-table, namely 2.008. Apart from that, the resulting P-Value value is 0.023 (<0.05).
