Hubungan antara Dukungan Sosial dengan Motivasi Berprestasi pada Atlet Karate Wadokai di Medan

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi pada atlet karate wadokai di Medan.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah atlet karate wadokai Medan dimana yang aktif atau telah berada di dojo tersebut selama 2 tahun, memiliki tingkatan mulai dari sabuk kuning sampai dengan sabuk coklat, serta atlet yang sudah pernah mengikuti pertandingan berjumlah 60 orang. Skala yang digunakan adalah skala dukungan sosial menurut Wills (Damanik, 2010) yang berjumlah 40 item, sedangkan skala motivasi berprestasi menurut Asnawi (2002) yang berjumlah 50 item. Reliabilitas skala duk:ungan sosial rbt = 0, 706 reliabilitas pada motivasi berprestasi rbt = 0,767. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teknik analisis korelasi Product Moment digunakan untuk menganalisis hubungan anatara satu variabel bebas dengan satu variabel terik:at. Dengan menggunakan SPSS versi 18,0. Hasil analisis diketahui bahwa terdapat hubungan positif yang signifikan antara dukungan sosial dengan motivasi berprestasi dimana rxy = 0,676 ; p = 0,000 < 0,05. Hasil lain yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini dukungan sosial tergolong tinggi sebab nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh yaitu 114, 88 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik yaitu 82,5, sedangkan motivasi berprestasi tergolong tinggi sebab nilai rata-rata empirik yang diperoleh yaitu 127, 48 lebih besar dari nilai rata-rata hipotetik yaitu 105 dengan selisih yang melebihi nilai SD atau SB yang besarnya 24, 629. Dari hasil penelitian ini, maka hipotesis yang diajukan dinyatakan diterima. The data analysis technique used in this research is analytical techniques Product Moment correlation is used to analyze the relationship between one variable independent with one hot variable: at. Using SPSS version 18.0. Analysis results It is known that there is a significant positive relationship between social support and achievement motivation where rxy = 0.676; p = 0.000 < 0.05. Other results obtained from In this study, social support was classified as high because of the empirical average value obtained namely 114.88 greater than the hypothetical average value of 82.5, while motivation achievement is classified as high because the average empirical score obtained is 127.48 more greater than the hypothetical average value, namely 105 with a difference that exceeds the SD or SB value which is 24,629. From the results of this research, the proposed hypothesis is stated accepted.
