dc.description.abstractInventarisasi Tumbuhan Paku di Universitas Medan Area Kecamatan Percut Sei Tuan Kabupaten Deli Serdang Sumatera Utara. Tumbuhan paku pada umumnya hidup ditempat lembab dan terbuka. Universitas Medan Area memiiki jenis pohon yang beragam, sehingga memungkinkan di temukannya jenis tumbuhan paku. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis tumbuhan paku epifit dan teresterial.Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif dengan teknik eksplorasi dan dokumentasi. Dari hasil penelitian di peroleh sebanyak 15 jenis yang terdiri dari 11 tumbuhan paku epifit yaitu(Davallia trichomanides,Nephrolepis hirsutula,Aspenium nidus,Pyrrosia pi/oselloides,Pyrrosia lanceolata, Tectaria sp.,Drymoglossum piloselloides,Drynaria quercifolia,Selliguea sp., Goniophlebium vern1cosum, Vittaria elongata) dan 4 teresterial yaitu (Adiantum trqfeziforme,Acrostichum aureum,Lygodium circinnatum, Thelypteris sp.) Inventory ojferns in University of Medan Area subdistrict Percut Sei Tuan district of Deli Serdang North Sumatra. Ferns generaly live in moist and open area. University of Medan Area has a variety of tree, thus enabling found of ferns. This research purpose to know the epiphytic and terrestrial. The method used in this research is descriptive exploration techniques and documentation. The results in this research found I 5 species consist of I I epiphytic ferns are (Davallia trichomanides, Nephrolepis hirsutula, Asplenium nidus, Pyrrosia piloselloides, Pyrrosia lanceolata, Tectaria sp., Drymoglossum piloselloides, Drynaria quercifolia, Selliguea sp. Goniophlebium verrucosum, Vittaria elongata), and four terrestrial namely (Adiantum trafeziforme, Acrostichum aureum,Lygodium circinnatum, Thelypteris sp.)en_US
