Abstract: | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ada tidaknya boraks pada makanan lontong yang dijual di kawasan Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang. Penelitian yang digunakan adalah Deskriptif Kualitatif dengan pemeriksaan laboratorium secara kualitatif dengan metode nyala api dan kertas kurkumin. Populasi adalah semua penjual lontong yang ada di Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang. Lokasi tersebut adalah Perumnas Mandala, Jalan Letda Sujono, Jalan Tembung, Jalan Metrologi, Jalan Lau dendang, Jalan Batang Kuis, Jalan Tanjung Morawa, Jalan Pakam, Jalan Kayu Besar, dan Jalan Bandar Kalipah. Sampel diambil secara randome atau pedagang ditentukan secara acak. Dari hasil pemeriksaan laboratorium maka diperoleh hasil yaitu semua sampel lontong yang diperjualbelikan di kawasan Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang tidak memiliki kandungan boraks. Lontong tersebut memenuhi persyaratan kesehatan berdasarkan Permenkes RI No. 033 Tahun 2013 tentang Bahan Tambahan Makanan, bahwa produk makanan apapun tidak boleh mengandung boraks. This research aims to determine whether there is borax in lontong food which is sold in the Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang area. The research used is Qualitative Descriptive with qualitative laboratory examination using the flame method and curcumin paper. The population is all lontong sellers in Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang. The location is Perumnas Mandala, Jalan Letda Sujono, Jalan Tembung, Jalan Metrology, Jalan Lau Dendang, Jalan Batang Kuis, Jalan Tanjung Morawa, Jalan Pakam, Jalan Kayu Besar, and Jalan Bandar Kalipah. Samples are taken randomly or by traders determined randomly. From the results of the laboratory examination, all the results were obtained There are no samples of lontong sold in the Percut Sei Tuan Deli Serdang area borax content. The lontong meets health requirements based on the Minister of Health Regulation RI No. 033 of 2013 concerning Food Additives, that any food product must not contain borax. |
