This research aims to see the relationship between family support and the career adaptability of administrative employees at Medan Area University. This type of research is quantitative with a correlational analysis approach. The sample in this study was all administrative employees who were placed to work in all faculties at Medan Area University, totaling 76 people. Career Adaptability is measured using a career adaptability scale which is based on the theory of career adaptability dimensions according to Savickas Schaufelli & Profeli (2013), namely concern, control, curiosity and confidence. Meanwhile, family support is measured using a family support scale based on the theory of aspects of family support according to Kumalasari & Lathifa (2012), namely information support, assessment support, instrumental support and emotional support. Based on the results of analysis using the r Product Moment method, it is known that there is a significant positive relationship between family support and career adaptability, r = 0.684; p = 0.00. From the research results, the determinant coefficient (r2) of the relationship between the independent variable (X) and the dependent variable (Y) is r2 = 0.467, where the higher the family support, the higher the career adaptability of Medan Area University administrative employees. This means that family support influences career adaptability for administrative employees at Medan Area University by 46.70%.en_US
