dc.description.abstractPenelitian ini dilaksanakan di kebun percobaan yang berlokasi di Desa Sempaka, Tanjung Sari kecamatan Medan Selayang, mulai bulan Juni 2014 sampai dengan September 2014. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan data tentang kemampuan kompos yang berasal dari limbah kubis dalam pertumbuhan bibit pisang barangan. Penelitian ini menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) non faktorial dengan perlakuan adalah aplikasi kompos limbah kubis sebagai berikut: Ao= kontrol, A1 = 5 g/kg media tanam, A2 = 10 g/kg media tanam, A3 = 15 g/kg media tanam, A4 = 20 g/kg media tanam. Parameter yang diamati adalah : tinggi bibit pisang (cm), jumlah daun, lingkar batang, berat basah/kering tanaman. Hasil kesimpulan yang diperoleh pengaplikasian kompos limbah kubis dapat mempengaruhi pertumbuhan bibit pisang barangan namun berpengaruh tidak nyata untuk parameter tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun, dan berperngaruh nyata pada berat basah dan berat kering pada tanaman pisang barangan penggunaan limbah kubis. This research was conducted at the experimental station located in the village of Sempaka, Tanjung Sari subdistrict of Medan Selayang, starting in June 2014 to September 2014. The purpose of this study was to obtain data about the ability of compost from waste cabbage in banana seedling growth. This study used a randomized block design (RBD) is the treatment of non factorial with cabbage waste compost application as follows: AO= control, Al = 5 g I kg of the planting medium, A2 = 10 g I kg of the planting medium, A3 = 15 g I kg of media planting, A4 = 20 g I kg of the planting medium. Parameters measured were: banana seedling height (cm), number of leaves, stem circumference, weight of wet I dry plants. The results obtained conclusions cabbage waste compost application can affect the growth of banana seedlings but not significant for the parameters of plant height, number of leaves, and real berperngaruh in wet weight and dry weight of the banana plant waste use cabbage.en_US
